Im looking into air fare for our cruise this fall

our TA says that its recommended for return flights after 1230

the airline Im looking into has a 1215 that would be perfect

does 15 minutes make that much of a difference
our cruise is from Southampton so well be flying in and out of Heathrow

the next flight isnt until 225pm

sos booking a flight 15 minutes earlier then the reommended time ok
or to play it safe should I just plan for the later flight
any tips would be greatly appreciated

It depends how much risk you want to take. Heathrow can be an interesting airport to navigate, though if you're leaving from Heathrow at least you don't have to go between terminals. But security lines can be long (even for flights originating from LHR).

If everything goes right, you could probably make the 12:15 flight. But if anything goes wrong, then you might be in trouble.

To me, the 225 flight is not that much later than the 1215 flight so I would choose that one. It gives me a bit more breathing room and them I'm not stressing about everything going perfectly.
