Where's that cursing thread?? My freakin' electric went out at 9 o'clock last night and was off for five freakin' hours!

What did I miss, huh? What did I miss? :Pinkbounc

That explains why I didn't know who the twins were (those twins, not :woohoo: twins :teeth: ). I'm not a HP fan. :duck:

Glad the spankee did better. The only child of mine that I really spanked more than a time or two was Jake. Some days I wish her were afraid of me. I can understand that mother and I am so thankful that Jake was so well behaved in preschool, but it was only 2 1/2 hours, 2-3 days a week. I think that full days would have been a different story.

Kindergarten was harder for him, even though he did better than a lot of kids in the class (he wasn't disruptive "bad" like some, for the most part). For Jake it's that he's a control freak, so he worries too much about other kids, wants to make sure that everyone is doing what they should be doing. Basically the self-appointed moderator (or maybe even webmaster) of the class, to put it in DIS terms. :rotfl2: It was kind of a joke between the teacher and me, but we did work hard on this trait last year. He still got along with the other kids, but as they get older that won't go over well.

Have a WONDERFUL Saturday everyone!

Missed you guys last night, brother is home from Las Vegas, sister is home from Chicago. We spent most of the night at my parents house hanging out. Dis'ed as much as I could but felt rude on my laptop and Dis'ing while talking to them.

Looks like I missed a fun night :(

You know, Angel, if you'd stay out of the bar and hang around here more often, you'd know what's going in.

A quote from Poohnatic that teva and I liked...an acronym for "when monkeys fly out of my ,uh, rear" :teeth: teva spelled it like poohnatic pronounces it. It's a term in their household like FOAD is in mine. Of course FOAD is worse and we've stopped saying that in front of Jake. :rotfl:

Not as much fun as the night before with teva and BOMB on the KWIM thread. That's one of my favorite DIS threads. I'm still laughing over that one (yes, I'm a cheap date, I know it!!!) :rotfl2: But yes, last night was an active, fun one! :teeth:

T&B - Your Jake is like my oldest Austin. Austin is 3 (almost 4) and in PreSchool 2.5 hrs Tuesday and Thursday. Any more would be disaster. He too wants to always be in control of everyone's actions. Funny how much your Jake reminds me of my Austin :rotfl2:

Yeah, I saw that one on that KWIM thread. But what is FOAD?

Hey forgot to ask - if you all are hungry for waffles, pop on in for breakfast. I have the BEST recipe for waffles and am making them for the entire extended family this morning. 8 for breakfast - what is it to have a few more joining us?

:welcome: Tricia!! Where were my manners :guilty:

Thanks Angel! :goodvibes Don't worry about welcoming. This is a very active thread, I am very new, and wasn't even here much last night.

You're welcome. It is a highly entertaining thread!

I never realized before how very witty Teva is! She had me :rotfl2: .

Tricia, If Jake were my oldest, I would have had more children. However, if my 3rd child had of been anything like Jake, we would not have had Jake. No question about it. Zachary was the "perfect child" once he turned a year old and his reflux and asthma got better. He had the best behavior, never a temper tantrum (ok, he had one on NYE at the mall when he was 3yo, but I brought him home and it turned out that he was sick...). So we figured--one more child. :rotfl2: We really do look back and laugh and say it was God's way of making sure we didn't have more (as we almost did since he was the easiest baby the first year). :teeth:
