I have gone to the gyno at least once a month for the last 2 years  When you gots female type cancer, your coochie gets more visitors than WDW on New Years Eve! :sad2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: OMG!!!

OK, I am highlighted, pedicured, and waxed. :thumbsup2

Tonight I shall pack!

Hey all!
I have got to get a life. I'm feeling a little jealous over everyones upcoming trips, I feel like a three year old that didnt get what they wanted from Santa. Heck, I'm so bored I'm even jealous of Shug's trip to GYN on Friday :rotfl: . The dentist went alright, the shot to numb the jaw and gum is finally wearing off and I'm not drooling on myself anymore- so I would consider it a sucessful day :rotfl2: . My birthday is on the 26th, but we are celebrating on Sunday because of the big soccer game and other fun adventures that have nothing to do with my birthday.
T&B- I'm sorry that your DD is being a pain. I hope that your Anniversary is as magical as your wedding day. Throw on a white dress and a garter and you're ready to go :lmao: .
Briar- I so happy you're highlighted, pedicured, and waxed. I think that I've been getting the short end of the trip preparations around here- I always vaccum, clean the kitchen, and finish the laundry- none of this pedicure stuff that you speak of. Please have a wonderful and fun trip. Say hi to Froggy for me.
Miss Jasmine- Has work slowed done a little or is it still crazy?
bigmerle1966- Isn't the few days before a big trip the slowest. I always feel like a kid waiting for school to get out when I'm counting down the days before a trip.
ANGEL- Tell me about something exciting that's going on with you.
punkin and iamsorry- Hi! How are you doing?
Teva- I missed you the first time around. How long is your trip for?

Holy moly, Merle, that's a lot of phone calls! :sad2:

Katie, we are only going for 5 days. Thursday to Tuesday.

You are offically added to my list of people who are I'm jealous of and will be cussing about under my breath :lmao: .

Yep, that's what happens when people decide to wait until a week before school starts to get childcare. :thumbsup2

Isn't it better to be jealous my trip to WDW than Shug's trip to the foofoo doctor?

Yea, you got me there. DO you have all your ADR's arranged? Where are you eating at? Can you tell I'm hungry?

You can be jealous of me too! :thumbsup2 DH and I are going sans children Sept 21-25. At least I hope and pray we are. Not sure what we are going to do if happy NWA goes bankrupt by then with their FAs striking. We don't have time to drive, but we are going to have to figure out someway to go. I have wanted to go to WDW without my children for years now. DH and I went to MVMCP in 2002 and left the kids with a Fairy Godmother. It was awesome and we have been trying to figure this trip out since!

I am not jealous of the gyn appt though I am overdue too. ANd I am seriously considering sedation dentistry. Not as a career, but as a solution to the fact that I may need up to 4 root canals. Yipes, I had NO cavities for years and now BAM!!!

My DH and I went in October 2004 without our kids. It was a wonderful trip, it was so fun and in the same respect I missed my boys dearly. The trip was nice for the pure reason that it was great have a break and be someone other than the boy's Mom for 5 days. I think it's very very important for parents (especially Moms) to have a little down time and enjoy something that is all about you. I came home feeling so refreshed and ready to battle everything my boys could throw at me. So, although I might be cussing you under my breath- I'm excited for you and I hope that you have a great trip :) .

I was LOL over Shug's coochie comment! :rotfl2:

My DH and I took one trip without the kids. Was fall 2004, too, I think. Red, maybe we saw you there. :rotfl: We had the most embarrassing of adventures at the comedy club. I found the old thread when I was going though the threads that I'm subscribed to and should copy and paste about our fun there. :teeth:

teva, yes, I was laughing at you going with your family. I thought that you were trying to get away from them...what happened?

My DH and I went out for fondue tonight. It was very good. The service was a bit slow, but not a big deal since we really were not in a hurry to get home. But the manager stopped by our table and told us our dessert was free. :thumbsup2 That works. :teeth:

Zach, our almost 13yo, made dinner here...pasta with homemade sauce and salad. Why doesn't he do that when I'm here? Of course now the secret is out and I will expect dinner on occasion. It's so nice to see a glimmer of a young man in one's child.

Merle, I would go crazy (ier) having to talk on the phone so much. Why do people wait so late to find care and what would they do if you were filled up?

I am also jealous of all the trips to WDW. I shouldn't be since I went a couple times last year, but it's the not knowing when I'll go next year and having to probably cancel the spring break trip. I don't know if I should go ahead and reserve rooms just in case we are able to go or if I'm setting myself up for disappointment.

Post it, I could use a good laugh. Did you go to the Melting Pot?

I'm always trying to get away from them. It rarely works out.

Here's our Comedy Club fun from September 28, 2004:

We made the mistake of going to the Comedy Warehouse and sitting near one of the phones on the wall. As you can imagine it rang during the show and my DH had the honor of answering it. Hmmm, you can guess that that meant trouble. They talked to both of us (which is over a loudspeaker so everyone in the club can hear) and found out that my DH and I were at WDW without our kids and then my DH let it slip that it was our 11yo's birthday. Oh, my, did they ever give us a bad time. What no one knew was that our son wasn't even home (he was on a 3 day school field trip and I'm bringing him for a mom/son trip in January so he's hardly deprived). They extracted all kinds of info about our family, my DH's job, etc and then did an improve song. It was SO funny! I'm glad that we have a good sense of humor--some people would not have found it funny.

So, if any of you were at the 10:30 show on 9/28, we really are not horrible parents!!! We had a great time telling our kids about what happened, especially our 11yo. He thought that was very funny.

Hey, my motto has always been to laugh every day, even if it is at yourself and I got a good laugh at our expense that night!

The funny thing is that we were so tired that night that we'd planned on just popping into the club for a little while and not staying for long, but after that skit, we couldn't leave. They kept talking about us the whole time...every time anything was said, they would say, "at least you're not here on your son's birthday without him". :rotfl2: We'd never laughed so hard in our lives.

:rotfl2: . Give me more details about the Melting Pot, please. I joined their website and they send you a free coupon for your birthday and anniversary, but I've never used it. I'm thinking that I might talk DH into taking me there for my birthday and I loved to hear more about it.

Us too! Hubby and I are scheduled to go, just the two of us, for a five night trip late in September, which will only be about 10 days after we get home from our current European extravaganza. I think we must be out of our minds. We originally planned for this trip to be right about now, with our DD, to take advantage of the free dining. When we found out we were coming to Europe, we moved it to the latest possible dates in September, and DD will be in college then (although there's a chance she may drive down with a friend for the weekend).

We went back and forth and back and forth about whether or not to cancel, but in the end we kept the reservation. I think we'll probably look a lot like this when we get home -

T&B, is this from a trip report that I can read somewhere? I'd love to check out your adventure!

Good Morning Sunshines :sunny: I hope all that are heading for the World have a magical time! :cheer2:
