I will NOT call you that. You will be LB to me. British Pound, if you will.
Also, I am very relieved about the 10%.

I, too, had forgotten it.

OK, I have been totally sucking at my Weight Watchers. Wine is just so good here! I really need to get concentrating on losing that next 10 pounds...right after this glass of wine.

Wine is good there, chocolate is good there, schools are bad there, and it's cold. I'm getting a good sense of the pros and cons of Belgium. :rotfl:

I'm so glad I was able to set your mind at rest, Bomb.

P&PD Quarter Pounder.

You forgot beer! Belgian beer is the best. Add beer and you've summed up the country. Except that it is a political mess. Two different groups of people in a divided country...that is actually split down the middle.

Oh, and the schools may well be good here. Ds goes to an American school. You know the 'my child is going to be left behind' type. They are supposed to memorize the mulitplication tables over Christmas break. An example of problems his old curriculum is doing: 1087 X 7=

You get the picture.

Geez, Bomb, so he's just hanging out all day? One year in the third grade when my son wasn't being challenged with math, I bought him a 6th grade workbook that he chose out of the books, and sent it to school with him. He worked in it when he was done with other stuff and I went over it with him at night.

I need to be doing something productive. I have presents to wrap, lists to make, clothes to fold.

Mom!!!!! Get your 85yr old butt out here and get busy!

I love delegating.

met people in AK and MGM for a hidden Mickey event (including the guy who wrote the hidden Mickey book)

Hi. My name is Krista and I'm a "people". I just got home last night :faint:. It was great meeting you and your sister. I'm so glad she enjoyed meeting up with Steven Barrett and hunting for Mickeys ::MickeyMo.

It sounds like I missed one or more of you PMS'ers at the DIS podcast meets :(. I was at both but didn't get to meet everyone who attended. I should have looked closer at nametags and made sure I didn't miss any of the people I'd actually ever heard of.

FYI - I know some of you (Paige, Froggy, etc) have expressed interest in DFW DIS meets. It's still being worked out, but it sounds like we've got one in the making http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1660576 . Of course if some of you ever come to town, we'd have a special meet :smooth:.

I don't think that would fly here in the school without grades.:sad2: I am considering pulling him out, but he has friends, and those are hard for him to get.

I want to know who you have! I think I know who has me, though. Just a hunch. :cool2:

Must not comment.

Teva! If your mom has an 85 year old butt, get her a new one for Christmas! :santa:

My presents are wrapped...now I'm off to take a nap.

Great idea, what store carries them? Bed, Bath and Beyond maybe?

Or their sister store, Bed, Bath, and Behind.:thumbsup2

Krista, hello! You scared the crap out of me that I was posting about Teva's mom's butt on the wrong thread.:lmao: Welcome!

Nope - just popping my head in to say "hey". I occasionally do that with this group and the Ya Ya's. I know what you mean, though. I hate that occasional moment of panic when I suddenly wonder if I've posted a post to the wrong thread :scared1:. Or worse - a PM onto a thread :scared: :faint:.

Bye, Debbie, hope you have a nice night at work.

Yeah, but I KNEW I had just quoted her, so I shouldn't have thought I was on the wrong thread.:lmao:

Are we making the kids gift exchange presents from the kids or from us or from us and the kids? :confused3
