Sure is! Ben is an earthquake baby--DH was in an earthquake in San Francisco when he was there on business (a bad one) and came home wanting to have another baby.
I hate getting a bunch of change and will try to give that penny so I get a dollar back.
Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day, I've got a wonderful feeling, everything's going my way, ay, oh what a beautiful day...............
it's astounding, time is fleeting, madness takes its toll, listen closely, not for very much longer.........I've got to keep control..........I remember, doing the time warp, drinking those moments when..........
Good morning! Thanks for the giggle David! It brought back some interesting memories of midnight showings of RH. I'm still trying to come up with Halloween costumes for DH and I on our cruise. Do you think he'd go for Frankenfurter?
I think it's going to be a great day.
My DH asks me first thing this morning if I've been taking my Lexapro still. I said, 'yes, why?' He tells me I've been grumpy the past couple weeks. I pointed out to him that I get up at 4:00am.
Life goes on....
Here's a copy of an e-mail I got from my Mom's friend Linda last night. It sure doesn't reassure me much. BTW, Gwyneth is my Mom's 18 year old cat. Carolyn and Andrew,
Here's the photo I promised you. You can crop it if you just need the survivors.
There is still no explanation for the pneumonia. The pulmonary doctor took out 1.7 liters of fluid from her right lung on Thursday, which she will send for more tests;and she did a bronchoscopy and biopsy on Friday. She also had a swallow study on Friday, She is expanding the range of tests being done.
Hopefully, we will have some results by Wednesday from these tests. I spoke to the infectious disease doctor, who does not think this is a bacterial pneumonia, which explains why the antibiotics have not helped at all. He said that all of the test reports are not yet back from the tests done 3 weeks ago, but that, since none of the cultures have grown any "bugs", it is looking more like another cause. Now that I have power of attorney, the doctors are talking to me, and I can give you more accurate updates.
Please send cards, pictures, call, and send your love and prayers to her.
I love your mother like a sister, and it is very upsetting to see her declining so much.
I hope that we can find out a diagnosis soon so she can get stronger and come home soon.
Dr Mayers brought her home from the hospital after her procedures yesterday, because both Edith and I had previous engagements with our grandchildren. She was really happy about that. And she loves when I bring Gwyneth to visit her.
I'll keep in touch,
Linda
