A quick hello!
Congrats on 8000 Pixie! LOVE the M & M. I read it to DD8 who isn't feeling well and has a stressful day and it made her smile.
DD8 has a followup with the GI today. Not sure I like the guy and I know DD doesn't like him. After 3 1/2 years of docs, I normally would back off of a doctor if she doesn't like him, but he's the only Pediatric GI in Western North Carolina.
Then lunch at the Chinese buffet. YUMMO!
Then, meet the teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! School starts tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry your DD isn't feeling well. Isn't it frustrating that the only physician available is not someone that you want to deal with.

School doesn't start here until Sept. 4th.

Happy 8000 Posts Day, PopRocks!

Scrappy, I know I shouldn't laugh at that, but I can't help it. Maybe you should just "disappear" the hoochie clothes and see if the decent clothes miraculously reappear. Sometimes clothes thieves can be convinced of the error of their ways under the right circumstances.

Not back yet, Pixie. We get home tomorrow, but Zach wants to go to Jamestown after we check out of the hotel, but it's supposed to be 103 here tomorrow (temp, not heat index) so it might be just too hot for that.

Why are we on page 2?

Morning--not a good one so far. Never good if I am up this early in August. DH decided last night that we should leave Thursday right after work for NY instead of Friday morning. We will drive a bit north and spend the night with his parents and then leave in the morning to shorten the drive on Friday a bit.

I agree with this, but it totally changes my timeline so I am stressed. So I couldn't sleep and woke up at 6:30 thinking of all the things that I need to get done.

and to make things worse apparently someone has come into my house and STOLEN all of DD11's decent clothes.
Must have.
She can't find them.
All she has are her hoochie clothes--shirts and shorts she has outgrown and her belly and butt hang out of. Thats it. All the new long shorts that I bought her in the Spring have magically disappeared. The new shirts--gone. She swears she can't find them anywhere and insists she is just taking the hoochie clothes. We have already had an hour of crying and screaming and tantrums. Seeing as how she is most excited about this trip to see her very best friend the fact that I WILL cancel it if she doesn't find her clothes does seem to be sinking in.

Where in NY are you going and why aren't you visiting me?

Well it would appear that whoever stole her stuff didn't get far. They must have gotten scared and decided to stash them and come back for them later. One shirt was found cleverly hidden under the bottom of the dresser drawers in her room and an entire outfit was still stuffed in the bottom of thei getaway bag--that looked amazingly like her swim bag-- in the van. Several others were very craftily hidden where no one would think to look--in the closet under all the other clothes stuffed in there.


Tiffer, we are going to Syracuse/Rochester and then over to Niagara Falls. I didn't think you were anywhere near there are you?

Good Morning...yesterday started downhill about 9 AM when my oldest called to say she had yakked all across her deck in first period.....normally wouldnt be a big issue but shes been yakking for 3 weeks and Im not talking about her having a gift for conversation!! I need to post details at the CH. My head hurts. We had a major plumbing issue inside the house. The city finally came and replaced the supply line to the house that had been leaking tons of water into my front yard since June !! Good thing it was on their side of the meter

those having issues getting into the club house will need to clear their cookies and relogin. if that doesnt work, let me know later,. i'm going back to bed, got off work at midnight, was up at 7 when jules got up to take dd to take her drivers exam. i'm debating running away from home while they are gone. teenager with drivers liscense... not a good thought.

Well pooper scooper. My laptop just isn't working. Maybe it is dying, I don't know. And MSN isn't working here. Tig says I may have to reinstall. I'm stuck to this pc. I am soooo not used to being stuck to a pc. AND, I can't late night on here, because the typing and the lights bother dh when he wants to sleep..........he's exhausted by 9, but can't possibly sleep while I'm noisily typing. So now I'll be bored stiff and jealous of missing the fun. Unless I can coax my poor little lappy into service.

I couldn't get on the CB yesterday, I didn't try the CH yesterday. Laptop had enough issues with one window and MSN.
