Good morning! Off to eat at the hotel breakfast again (this is going to get old) before heading to Water Country. Amie, don't you have a navigation system? ;)

Paige texted me when she got in last night...or was that this morning...so I'd know she arrived safely. Awwww. Anyway, Paige arrived home.

Have fun today Tig!

I made a doctor's appointment so no nagging is necessary. I made my call...did everyone else make theirs? :rolleyes1

Lara, I few years ago I was having some trouble like you had the other day. I have a thyroid issue too. I ended up having to go to UAB to the Kirklin Clinic and seeing the best heart guy in the state. They never did pinpoint my trouble. But I started keeping a journal and when there is a lot going on that is stressful then I have those same problems. They wanted to do ablation , I turned them down. No need for them to cut into my leg and then burn pieces of my heart tissue to take care of that !!

Well. I cannot use my laptop. Either my router isn't routing or my laptop isn't lapping because it won't get the signal. SO.........couldn't remember the password for here to get on here last night, but I remembered today.

BUT, MSN isn't working. AND I have no addy to the clubhouse on this computer. SO..........I'm slightly out of the loop here, but I've been gone so long, that's par for the course.

The worst part is I am stuck here. Okay for now, not so okay for later on. Hopefully I can figure it out by then.

Thanks Tiggy for all the phone calls yesterday on that nightmare drive..........kept me awake and sane (as much as possible anyway ;) ).

Good morning

Caro-good news on Mickey!
Paige-glad you're home safe and sound

No big plans here today. Phone calls, cleaning, errands. fun fun!

Phors, had a surprise when I got here. Thank you!

I am beyond hungry this morning I went straight to HONGRY!!!
I need food, yet nothing sounds good.

Paige, you might have to start from scratch and install MSN again...I have to do that quite often. And I love talking to you on the phone. :teeth:

Talk to you all later...we're off to waterslide. :woohoo:

Teo's going to make sure I'm in the loop, got to meet her, btw, and she is NOT an axe murderer. ;)

So, took us an hour to leave La Quinta parking lot yesterday. Why you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Shut up, I'm telling you anyway. :lmao: My van was FULL of ants! That's right, like a whole moving ant mound. They were in the van, on the floors and the seats, everywhere. So we had to take everything out and shake it out, and then I left the kids with the stuff and drove with both feet on the pedals (didn't want any ants on me!) down the hill to a Walmart and got ant spray. Took the kids in to let them watch TV in the lobby and told the front desk clerk. Her response, while still typing away on the computer........"they must be looking for something to eat". I told her "I have NEVER had ants INSIDE my car. And I have camped in the woods before, where they have nothing to eat." She asked if we had food in the car, and I said just crumbs from the kids. I told her their exterminator was not treating the grounds, and she said, "Well there are no ants in the hotel". This is all while looking at her computer screen. Unbelievable. So I asked her for her corporate number and she said, "Right there are the business cards."

I went out and sprayed the van, loaded all the stuff back up, left it open to air out, came back in, and having noticed that was only their local card approached the desk again, but now she was busy with someone else. Another lady in a dressier blouse instead of the uniform shirt was at the desk. I think she must have been the manager. I approached her and asked her to write the corporate number on the card. She did, and said it was the reservations number, but that if I would tell them my problem that they'd get me to the right person, so I told her what the problem was, and I said I had tried to tell the other girl and got no satisfactory response. She said she was very sorry that had happened, and very sorry about the ants and she'd talk to the exterminator. I said "It would have been nice if SHE would have said that" and by now that girl was done with her customer and back on the computer, doing whatever was so important, and turned red. So the other lady said again she was sorry and I said "thank you" and we finally left. With little ant carcasses all over the car.

And then there was construction all the way home. Bleh. Oh and by the way, there was an apple with a couple bites out of it, just feet from my car, and the ants were NOT eating that.

Ah, I'll try that tonight if nothing else works. Have a great time! I'm enrolling the boys in school today. After all that, I was so restless last night, I couldn't sleep well and was up early. Bet I crash and burn later.

AND..............don't lose your suit. ;)

Good morning!

I picked up a shift today, so I have to work 2-8. What was I thinking? I can hardly stay awake at home at 8. I'm going to be hurting later!

Paige... ewwww about the ants. I'd write a letter too, along with the phone call.

off to clean the house. Why is that an everyday chore? I have three maids, I mean daughters. My house should be immaculate ALL the time!

My house was a lot cleaner when I was working a job. Of course then I didnt have a 4yo either. I too have 3 daughters, they are the cause of the mess !!

AND..............don't lose your suit. ;)

If you do loose your suit, but sure someone's taking pictures so we can all have a good laugh!

ETA: At the situation....not at you without a suit!

darn lara edited and I was gonna say..make sure they take pics with a zoom lense....

So I'm contemplating getting a job. But I am very limited in what I can do. I did see a posting for a receptionist at the high school I'm thinking about. If I do attempt to return to work I'd like to find something within the school district. They want a resume though. That's gonna be a tough one.

Ty thinks I should apply. How sweet, he wants his mommy working at his school.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (at the clarification, not the situation) ;)

Got the adorable card today Koolaid, and I have to ask, did that baby really write that all by herself? Because that is FABULOUS! :thumbsup2

Aimee!!!!!!!!!!
