Well I am back. I am now a lunch lady at the high school! I asked the boys ahead of time what school should I choose if I was offered one and they both said they high school so that's wat I picked. The hours are 10-2 every day. I should be able to handle that. I let him know abut my disability and he said not a problem, there are others there that can help with the lifting. (Technically I'm not supposed to lift over 10 pounds...riiiiight). I also let him know I had a vacation planned and again, no problem.
So there is a lunch lady meeting next Monday morning at 8 and my first day will be the 28th, which is when the kids start back.

So now I have to tell my DH who had no idea I was even thinking about getting a job nevermind going out and getting one.

Guess who feels human today???? The bad news is that means I came downstairs Now I am spending the day doing laundry and cleaning up. I have Lysoled my bedroom and bathroom and changed my sheets and cleaned my bathroom really well. If I can get through this without anyone else getting it I will be happy.

Time to tackle the kitchen.

Well. I cannot use my laptop. Either my router isn't routing or my laptop isn't lapping because it won't get the signal. SO.........couldn't remember the password for here to get on here last night, but I remembered today.

BUT, MSN isn't working. AND I have no addy to the clubhouse on this computer. SO..........I'm slightly out of the loop here, but I've been gone so long, that's par for the course.

The worst part is I am stuck here. Okay for now, not so okay for later on. Hopefully I can figure it out by then.

Thanks Tiggy for all the phone calls yesterday on that nightmare drive..........kept me awake and sane (as much as possible anyway ).

So I'm contemplating getting a job. But I am very limited in what I can do. I did see a posting for a receptionist at the high school I'm thinking about. If I do attempt to return to work I'd like to find something within the school district. They want a resume though. That's gonna be a tough one.

Ty thinks I should apply. How sweet, he wants his mommy working at his school.

Hello everyone! Guess where I am going in about 16 hours.

I miss you all ( I know I sound like a broken record saying that all the time, but I do)...

Well, since you already went to Germany for school supplies (which my girls found hilarious) I'd say you're going to DLP!!!!

Well, turns out they need food service workers too. I just called and they said come on down and fill out an application and she'll try to get me in right away to speak to the person in charge. They need people ASAP apparantly.
