PM EMH-worth it in July?

We are heading to WDW this Saturday. Since we have been there many times, we know what we want to do, have a plan that works, and kind of do the opposite of the crowds when possible.

Well, I have been looking at information about the PM EMH and since we have never given this a thought in previous trips (there was a charge before), we are thinking about changing plans a bit. We originally planned to stay away from the park that had EMH.

We were there last week and only went to one EMH at MGM - I was astonished at the crowd level! There were 60+ minute waits for ToT and RnR and NO fastpasses available. We barely got into the 10:30 showing of Fantasmic. After that, there were no more show times for other attractions, so everyone was on the 2 big rides - we just went home. The rest of the week we avoided EMH!

We just got back yesterday and the crowds were incredible on EMH.

My family loved the old e-nights and EMH is totally different than e-nights. To keep it in a positive light I look at EMH as a throw back to the days were the parks were open until midnight. You will have extra time in the parks but unfortunately, unlike e-nights, you will deal with long waits to get on certain rides.

we found the emh nights, especially at MK to be horrendous. first of all the crowds were borderline unbearable. we literally had to wait until after 12pm to even think of getting on anything. lines were incredibly long and even as late as 12pm even PP had long waits of almost 30 minutes. even when MK was open , with the emh hours added, until 2AM there were still long lines when we left at 115am. this was a constant thing for our entire trip from july 2nd- july 13th


Sorry Bob, keep these EMH nights and give me back my e-ride nights
