Two nut jobs get caught with a plan that includes robbing a bunch of gun stores, killing 88 people and then ultimately targeting Obama, and it becomes a "race issue"? These jerks got caught before they pulled off one step of their crime and yet, they become the "symbol" of "race" for the Obama camp? Please.

I know... it's disgusting. And not only do I fear that someone will try to kill him because they don't like him, but I also worry that someone will do it because they DO. People are crazy. Thank God this plot was averted.

I don't think anyone has ever denied that there is a possibily that an attempt could be made on his life because of his race, or even that SOME small-minded people wouldn't vote for him because of that reason.

That isn't the same as saying that if he isn't elected it's because he's black.

"I am going to take $700 BILLION of your tax dollars ... and I am going to GIVE it directly to the CEO's of banks and investment houses ... because ... they need the money ... not to BUILD anything ... but ... they just need it."

If nobody cares about plots to bomb the White House, The US Capital, courthouses, police stations, start a revolution and send 20 million people to re-education camps in the Southwest, turn over portions of the US to the Soviet Union, China and Cuba, and then years later foster and sponsor the political campaign a socialist candidate for president, then why would anyone care about this plot? Maybve the fact that the ATF and other governemtn agencies continue to do their jobs, even though they work under a failed presidency should give people hope. Unless they get their hope from another source...

I'd say the same thing if the speaker of the house and the Senate Majority leader tells the nation the same thing. It IS socialism and that's why so many republicans were inundating Washington with phone calls and emails aginst the bailout. Good thing the DEMS got 2/3 of their reps to vote for it...

Unfortunately, no matter who is president, there are always nutjobs (and "professionals") out to cause harm or kill him/her. I think we'd all be shocked if we knew even HALF of the threats to the President every single day. The secret service does an amazing job protecting high-level government officials!

I am very glad that these whackos were caught and I hope they get the absolute maximum the legal system can throw at them.
