He is doing great, Jill! He's been eating the turkey and I think he ate some of the dry food on his own (he's a messy eater and there was cat food all over the floor around the bowl this morning). He must be feeling better, because he spent the night downstairs away from us. And, I've seen him drink at least a couple times.

The meds still tire him out, but he seems to have a bit more energy and he's being more like himself everyday.

I'm very relieved. Once we get him on the right track, we'll figure out switching his food over, to try and make sure this doesn't happen again.

Glad to hear that he is doing better. With the fur babies it's almost like having human babies once again as they can't tell you what is wrong but you know something is not quite right.

I have been spoiling our male today and letting him go in the bird room (the door is usually shut) and he just sits and stares up at the cage - I have to keep them in the cage when he is in the room as I don't completely trust him.

I got to scrap a bit earlier but I had visits from two of the girls. One wouldn't leave before I heaped a lot of attention on her, and then one left the table when I tried to cut her claws and was happy to watch from the other side of the room. I love the cats but they seem to come out of no-where when I go in the craft room and they insist on laying across whatever I am trying to work on. I am sure each page I do has an ample supply of cat hair.

Do you have power? Ours only flickered for a bit in the early morning but I have heard that others in town are still out and many in Upton are without power. My son has already had school canceled in Franklin for tomorrow - strange!

Yes, it is like having a baby again. He can't tell me what's wrong. He seems on the road to recovery, so I'm very hopeful...

My Ginger used to have to lay across whatever I had in front of me, newspaper, books, scrap stuff, whatever. She needed to be the center of my world when she wanted to be.

We have power. I would have a complete fit if we had lost power again. Over 6 days from Irene...Not fun or funny.

The sidewalk plow went by this morning. I got a laugh out of that, they really want that overtime check
