Please post Xmas/Holiday pics!!!

I am sooooo excited to be cruising in Dec. next year and see all this!! At what event will they have the snow in the atrium and CC?

Lvstitch, is that confetti or "snow"? If it's "snow", what is made out of? Was that Christmas Eve? Just wondering what we have in store for us this Christmas. TIA and TFS your pix!

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....

It's MAGIC!!! :goodvibes

It's Disney Snow!!! ;)

Here's the schedule that someone posted a couple weeks ago:

Cruise Terminal-November 7-January 14
Disney Magic-November 15-January 15
Disney Wonder-November 9-January 13
Castaway Cay-November 27-January 13

Hmm, thats funny, I was on the Wonder Jan 6-10 of 08 and there werent ANY decorations, ANYWHERE!

Thats the schedule for this year. I know DCL has been listening to alot of guests that wanted the decorations up just a wee bit longer. Kind of like the parks where sometimes its the 2nd week of january before all the decoration come down.

It sounds like some of you are Christmas experts.:thumbsup2 We are sailing at Christmas this year on the 4 night. Our itinerary says that Nassau is on Christmas day. A lady on our cruise thread said Christmas is always a at sea day. Is this true? How do we go about booking excursions if we do not know what day we will be in Nassau.

The pics are wonderful...keep them coming!!!!!

I'm hopin to do a little of DCL & WDW at the holidays... I missed the new Osborne lights last year... & the castle lights!!!

Do they decorate around the whole ship or just in the atrium?

The ginger bread house isn't in the atruim...and in the halls for the staterooms there was Disney Christmas Music playing all the time...

The ship looks very beautiful all decorated...

I would love to be onboard either of the DCL ships at Christmas-time - these pics are just gorgeous! :worship:

Bet DD6 would probably like it too. :lmao:

Is that a special event that they have on board?

Yes, it's the tree lighting ceremony. They have it on the first night of the cruise (throughout the holiday season) at about 7:30. It's not to be missed.

It's mostly "snow" but I think there is some Mickey Confetti in there too:thumbsup2. It's the same kind of snow they have in the parks.

Premature Christmas decorations usually aggrivate me, but we're sailing over Thanksgiving, and I'll have absolutely no problem with seeing the Magic decorated while we're there! I hope that the holiday-related activities are in full swing as well that early in the season. I'd hate to miss out... but that might just be cause for rebooking for Christmas next year!

As long as it isn't the real thing, I'll be happy. I'm cruising in December to escape the winter cold and snow! ;)

When do they decorate the ship? I ask because I'm boarding on Nov 15th....does that mean that we will be boarding later than normal?

Here are the dates for the christmas decorations for DCL for 2008
Cruise Terminal-November 7-January 14
Disney Magic-November 15-January 15
Disney Wonder-November 9-January 13
Castaway Cay-November 27-January 13

I love the wreath. I just told my DD we have a project to do the day after Thanksgiving.:cool1:
