Please pass the Prozac...............

Thanks too Jackie, we are staying there in 39 days!:cool1:

Thanks for the pics, Jackie!

I am excited to stay there. It just didn't seem as fun for the kids, but I know I will love it.

WINKERS, will you go down the slide? I want down the one at CBR in Aug. 07.
My DD and DS said mom it is to small for us. I waited in line behind all the 4 year olds, and want down.... very slowly......:lmao:

Fantastic saving Cherie and the boat ride to DTD from POFQ is lovely :goodvibes
I'm looking forward to being able to ride the boat there!

Okay...looking at those POFQ pictures are making me doubt POR. :rolleyes1
The reason I choose FQ, is I've always wanted to go to NewOrleans and see the French Quarter, so this is second best!

WOW!!! Great savings!!!
I like the food area better at POFQ than POR.
The Beneits (not sure how to spell them) look great! Nothing like deep fried dough topped with sugar!

Hey Cherie! Just found your PTR link in Jordy's TR and decided that it was time that I joined the fun. And let me just say, it's worth it. You have me crackin' up all over the place. I've been a "here and there" lurker on your other TR but couldn't bring myself to join in on the fun after 1,000 comments were already up. So I guess you can say I'm starting early as it's a PTR. Ok. Now that I'm done rambling... I can't wait for your next installment.
Hi & Welcome! I'm glad you came out of lurkdom!

:lmao: The monkey on crack thing :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That was me too!! We were able to change our ressie for Jan around, rooms only 1/3, package starting 1/4 staying until 1/11 courtyard view bunkbed room at WL! We were originally leaving 1/9. So we got 2 1/2 extra days and saved approx $1550! Including the $200 gift card!!!! YIIIPPPPEEEE!!!!!!
 2 of my favorite things...Disneyworld and saving money!!

So glad for your discount!! You AND you kids will love the POFQ and POR resorts. I wasn't sure if we would but we did have a lot of fun there. Be sure to head over to POR one evening and check out the piano guy at the river roost lounge. It's a great comedy act that EVERYONE can get in to! We only caught the tail end of it on the last night of our trip. We may try to head over there this trip just to check out the full show. There are also other activities around the resorts. At the POR pool we walked through one day and they had a poolside Bingo game going on. Plus, with the marina and water taxi to DTD, there is plenty to do without getting bored around the resorts. We also took advantage of the horse drawn carriage ride around POR. ($35) And also the surrey bikes are a LOT of fun!
I really want to do the carriage ride......I'm thinking I'll send the kids and mil to the pool and dh and I can have a little sanity break!
How long does it take to walk between resorts?

I would also love to meet you and your family. If you ever come to Louisiana you have to come see me. Are you going back in Feb. of 2010? Because we might go then.
As of now, we won't be going next year..........but you never know!

I am so glad I am not the only one who does things to embarass my kids. My oldest son would love to tell of the horror of watching his mom doing dance dance revolution at his middle school's carnival tonight :scared1: :scared1: (loved it the whole time, I love that game even if I lack coordination and for that I am willing to pay for therapy).

I like to dance and sing opera ...........just to embarass my kids. It's the payback for the things they did when they were younger!

WOW- Great savings on your package! POFQ looks so nice. I am sure you will have a great time there! How exciting to be able to save $1000 and get the $200 Disney card - nice.

BTW - Your family pictures are great! You kids are very cute!

p.s. I think the idea to start MIL on Prozac too is very clever! :rolleyes1

The Suprise~

I'm so excited about this suprise!! I almost blabbed yesterday to the kids but D.Jay says I have to wait.:sad2:

I mentioned before being up at the butt crack of dawn to call and book something. Well, it's an Illuminations Cruise!:yay: I never though I would fork over the money for one, but I decided what the heck!

The kids are going to be so shocked when we tell them! Our first trip we had great seats at the Rose and Crown on the patio for Illuminations, and they think it can't get better than that!

Oh how fun! I love the idea of one of the fireworks cruises but I figured I better not spring too many new experiences on everybody all at once... they're already questioning my sanity as it is!

That's an awesome surprise! So, can I be nosy and inquire how much an Illuminations cruise runs?
:rotfl: it's a little over $300, I don't have the exact number right now. You get the boat and snacks:yay:

 My family already questions my sanity, so I do everything I can to give them reason.;)

The carriage ride was lovely! We never did walk over to POFQ, but I would say it is only about a 5 minute walk. Scott would probably know better since he walked every morning during his "cousin" vacation.

I've been on a couple of carriage rides and always enjoyed it. I just need a Scarlet O'Hara dress to make it complete.

An Illuminations Cruise, wow that'll be lovely :goodvibes Good luck keeping it secret :rotfl:

Are you questioning my secret keeping abilities?;)
Of course not :rotfl2: I managed to keep us going to Lapland from the girls (they were only 4 & 6) a secret from them even if the whole of my village did know :rotfl2:
