I've never actually HAD a sister, but I'm pretty sure if I did you'd be my twin! (Though I AM jealous of the red hair. How did I not end up with it?!) I'm 34, I have four kids (though I've got one son and three daughters, pray for me), my Dad lives with us (but he couldn't be talked into going to Disney if his life depended on it) and I'm a closet Disney fanatic. I try to only appear to be slightly charmed by it, not freakishly obsessed as I am in reality.

Your kids look very close; I can only hope mine stay the same way!

Oh, your update made me laugh, Cherie -- I try very hard to keep my Disney obsession under wraps, but ever since I joined Facebook and I have a Flair board that is filled with Disney buttons, I don't think it's a secret anymore.

My FIL asked me if I had seen the new deals (4/3) for Disney at dinner the other night and when I told him that I had booked it the day it came out, he looked at me like I was a little over the edge.

All I have to say is thank goodness for the DIS -- otherwise I would really think I had a problem -- but knowing there are others like me -- well, it must be normal then!

I'm the Mother in Law who is taking my grown sons, their wonderful wives, and our two little grandsons to WDW for a week in January. I hope my daughters-in-law have nothing but kind things to say. However, in reality, I am sure I drive them crazy. I'm kind of a "diva" grandma. Oh well. My husband and I are giving them the trip, all expenses paid, including dining, etc. They will have their own rooms at the GF. I hope we all have a good time, but I'm sure, if you asked them, they are stocking up on drinks.

Yeah, our 13 year old (the boy child) has just reached the boundary pushing stage. DH was exhausted from trying to figure out how to deal with him and I had to laugh out loud- I was 10 times worse than he is in his worst moments and we've got to go through that three more times!

I think 13, 14 & 15 are the hardest ages.
I worked with the girls at church age 12-18 for years and that's the age they suddenly get an attitude.

I think I do a pretty good job of hiding the fact that I'm obsessed with disney. I try really hard not to let my friends and family know that I can think of nothing but adr's and what resort to stay at. But last night..............I let the cat out of the bag.

Here's a phone conversation that occured at 8:05 p.m.

me~ Hello

friends dh~ Hi, this is friends dh...I hear that your the disney world expert.

me~ Blushing......oh, well I don't know if I'd call me an expert.....

friends dh~ Well, I'm looking it taking the family to disney world and I'm a little overwhelmed, so I thought you could give me some tips on where to start.

me~ ..........30 minute speach espousing the glories of the resorts, magical express, adr's, ddp, the busses.....................

I'm finally all caught up! You've been busy miss thang!! Love all the kid's updates and the pictures of the play. Looks like they all did a wonderful job and had a real good time.

It's funny that someone (geminiangel?) said this looks like National Lampoon's vacation because DH and I were talking about ours ending up that way the other day. Sooooo....since it seem's we are all in for what seems to be a National Lampoon type of trip in our own ways, I'm changing the name of our meet thread.
