I really hope something comes to head today, since it is the day Casey said Caylee would be found. Wheather she comes home safe and alive, or they are lead to her body, I just really want this to be over already.
Truthfully, I don't think they will ever find this little girl. I think the "mom" was smart enough to throw her in a swamp with gators or something where she knows she wouldn't be found. I just pray that they will be able to convict her with or without the body.

I honestly don't see the resemblence. It wouldn't surprise me if Casey was sleeping around, had no idea who the dad was, he died, used that to her advantage and then decided to tell everyone it was him.

Casey's Myspace and Facebook both had pictures from about a week before the "kidnapping" that showed her with several different friends and guys out drinking. She looked very "cozy" with several of the gentlemen in the pictures.

I think she just didnt want to be a single mom any more and wanted to party, so she got rid of the kid.

Where did Casey's parents think that she worked? Did they think she worked at Universal? Who did they think kept Caylee when they were all at work?

The drowning makes no sense though. Why would someone cover that up. Even if the mother wasn't watching and this happened, why would she worry about calling 911 and telling someone? Kids drown, even under very watchful eyes, it isn't a criminal act all the time.....even though with her it very well might have been. Seems soemthing like that, the mother would call 911.

I agree,children unfortunatley,accidently drown all the time.Your first reaction/thought after getting them out would be to call 999/911.This theory does'nt make sense to me-heck none of this is making sense.x.

I think Casey is a sociopath and is enjoying all the attention. I think she was jealous of the attention her daughter received and did not want the responsibility of her anymore, so out of spite, rather than let her parents or whomever have the child, she did something. Rather it was unintentionally as in leaving her in the car while she partied and then doing something with her body after the fact, or doing something intentional.

Did she not make a comment on the phone about all the attention her daughter got and she was all anyone cared about?

I read this along time ago and I think Cindy and Casey had a fight probably over Caylee, it is obvious from what Cindy wrote, Casey was jealous of the love Caylee received. I think out of spite she left with their car and credit cards and Caylee and some where down the line I think she decided to kill her. I think the grandparents knew all along that she took the car and credit cards, they had to know, she disappeared at the same time the car was stolen.That's why they never reported it in the beginning. Cindy eventually got a hold of her and probably threatened to call police if she didn't return home. When Casey came home without Caylee, I think Cindy as a last resort called police about the car and credit cards in hopes that Casey would tell her where Calee was. Cindy calls police and they put her on hold to transfer the call and you can hear Cindy telling Casey she has had 31 days. It sounds like all along Cindy had been calling her on her cell and Casey ignored it for some time until Cindy threatened her.
I do believe she buried her in the backyard while her parents were away but probably realized it would be obvious that the ground had been disturbed. She had to dig her back up, put her in the car and Lord knows where she is now.

For those living in the Orlando area: are they showing pics of the car on your local news? Maybe someone saw the car while Casey had it. You never know.

I would be surprised if Casey purposefully killed Caylee, but then again, I'm shocked she would be out partying like that if she knew Caylee were dead.

I'm guessing she left her parents house because her mom was being too involved and controlling with how she was raising Caylee. I'm also wondering if Caylee wasn't showing Cindy more affection than she was showing Casey and Casey got angry about it.

I'm also guessing Caylee died as a result of neglect. If she died in the pool, possibly Casey was passed out (either from a night of partying or from partying -drugs or alcohol- at that point) and Casey didn't want to call the police. I think if Caylee were still alive or if she wasn't in the water too long, she would have most likely called, but maybe she found her and could tell she'd been in the water too long.

Also, I can see her leaving her in the car and then not wanting to get in trouble about it.

I studied psychology in college and continue to study it a bit on my own, and it still shocks me that a woman can be seen partying like she was right after her daughter died or went missing.

That was the case when the child was first reported missing. That's how they've been able to hold Casey in jail the whole time.

Why in the world are they charging her with that now and not before? How much longer can they hold her on the current charges with no conviction? They've got to get their answers soon and charge her. I'm afraid she'll get out and her mother will help her run.

They FORMALLY charged her with that a few days ago. I don't know much about law, but I think they were holding her on... suspission (SP?)..... knowing they may charge her down the road once they got more evidence. They never wanted to let her out of jail for fear that she may flee.
