Concierge Studio Sunset savanna view. 6201 is closest to the Concierge lounge food section, very nice. I would put the dead bolt on the door and get what I wanted, walk back into the room.

Just stayed in 5429 May 26-June 1 - Studio on Zebra Trail, Arusha Savannah - perfect centered view of savannah, double sink in vanity, wardrobe plus closet by entry. Bed was soooo comfortable and the kids loved the flat screen tv. Close to elevator to go right down to pool. No complaints here!

6206 -> CL studio overlooking the sunset savannah. I would say that it was probably a bit more than 1/2 way down the hallway from the lounge. This room had the bed near the sliders.

LisaS, after reading your original post, here are a couple more details.
1) double sink
2) had a wardrobe but the cleaning stuff was stored in there. Instead it was stored in a closet near the door.

I thought the values were only found on the Sunset Savanna? Could you please confirm? We will be there in 6 days in a value studio and I requested pool view because everyone was saying they weren't seeing any animals on the Sunset.

The Value rooms are on the Ostrich and Giraffe Trails which are the two short hallways at the front of the resort. AKV rooms on the Ostrich Trail face either the Sunset Savanna or the parking lot. Rooms on the Giraffe Trail face the pool area.

on your map my value room was one of the number 47 - it was dedicated. Well get you the room number when I go back in Sept.

the standard view again dedicated was in 42 section - it has double sinks. It was the last villa along hall. (okay studio isn't a villa)

Thanks very much to all of you who have replied so far. This information is very helpful! There are no reports yet from rooms in the two short "spurs" off the Kudu Trail, room number ranges 5251-5285 and 5341-5366. I need to know which side of those hallways has the odd numbered rooms and which side has the even numbered rooms. If it mirrors the layout on the Zebra trail, as you walk down those spurs (starting from the main hallway heading to the GV at the end of the spur) the even numbered rooms are on the left and the odd numbered rooms are on the right but I want to confirm that before I enter all the data!

And speaking of GVs, if anyone has been fortunate enough to stay in one, I need those room numbers too!

Also DBIL and DSIL stayed in 5212 that overlooks the Sunset Savanna. This was also a ded studio.

From my "grand tour of the AKV studios" last month-
5436-standard studio, pool view, 2 sinks, near elevator
5020-value studio, lovely pool view, giraffe trail, 2 sinks, near elevator to pool
5377-savannah studio overlooking Arusha savannah, kudu trail, great view but a very long walk to the elevators to Mara

5124- a dedicated value studio with double sinks, there was a closet by the door and a chest in the room with more hanging space. This room faced the sunset savanah on the Ostrich trail.

Then we moved to a two br, and for the life of us we are not 100% sure of the room number but we think it was 5511 and 5513 with 5511 being the studio portion. This room was on the zebra trail looking over the Arusha savanah and was also a GREAT room with easy access to the elevator down to the pool and the Mara! The room was a normal unit, double sinks in both rooms and not handicapped accesible. We loved this location and would love to have it again! Also, just beyond the room was the glass for viewing so it was easy to see the animals on the Uzima savanah (where the baby giraffe is)
