We are at AKV right now. 5221 lock off studio and 5223 lock off 1 BR. Using it as 2BR. The view is great. Right off the lobby area on the 5th floor. Great location. No sign of construction.

Hi we were in 5210. Faced the sunset savannah - it was a dedicated studio. It had double sinks, a closet by the door and the wardrobe.

Do you happen to remember which room number is the studio portion and which is the 1BR?

If I recall correctly 5412 is the studio (closest to the lobby)

I'm giving this a bump to see if we can get some more responses. It would be particularly helpful if anyone has information for rooms that are on either end of one of the building segments or for rooms located along one of the "spurs" on the outside of the horseshoe or any room numbers for the GVs. I need the room number, size/type of room (studio, dedicated studio, 1BR, 2BR, GV), and on which side of the hallway the room was located. If you stayed in a 2BR I need to know which room number goes with the studio portion and which goes with the 1BR portion.

This information will be used to make a better Jambo House map and will be shared with tjkraz of dvcnews.com for a searchable room database. (Want to know how many Value studios there are? or how many HA rooms have a savanna view? The database will make it very easy to find the answer to those questions!)

6206 -> CL studio overlooking the sunset savannah. I would say that it was probably a bit more than 1/2 way down the hallway from the lounge. This room had the bed near the sliders.

Very interesting about the chair. This is the first report I've seen of a Value 1BR that did not have a fold-out chair. Was there a different(regular) chair in the room or no chair at all?

You weren't confusing at all. In fact, your information allowed me to determine which side of that hallway spur has odd numbered rooms and which has the even numbered rooms! In order to put the info in the database I need to know which room number was the studio and which was the 1BR portion so I didn't list them as "done" since I still need more info on those rooms. Everything else you mentioned is on my list ready to go in once I can split up those room numbers.

After trying to be so detailed I forgot to list which room was which! Sorry! I believe 5543 was the one bedroom and 5545 was the studio. Thank you for doing this, it will be nice when you are all done!

Thanks! I just assumed you weren't sure so had not listed which was which.

I thought this was going to be a straightforward task of matching up a range of room numbers against the floor plans. However as it turns out, they skip over some numbers in each building segment so I have to figure out which numbers do not get used. But we're getting there!
