Hi! Remember me? In case you don't remember this is the report where 3 moms go on a trip together even though they've never met. Anyways, when we left off we had just humiliated ourselves at Mission Space. Now it's time to soar on over to Soarin with our Fast Passes. We all love this ride and I highly recommend riding with your shoes off. It hightens your senses. Don't worry if everyone laughs at you when you lift your feet so you don't get them wet or kick a rock. I SO didn't do that by the way.
After Soarin we decided to leave for awhile and head over to Down Town Disney for awhile for some shopping. It's got to be less crowded than last night right? I don't remember when we had this taken, but it's one of my favorites.
When we got to DTD it was packed! Our chauffeur, Michelle, was kind enough to drop us off at the front. She had to park all the way down near Planet Hollywood! Love ya Michelle! When we met back up we decided to eat first. We picked Earl of Sandwich. It was very crowded, but so worth it. YUMMO! It is now my favorite counter service at Disney. I snagged us a table while Sara and Michelle got the food. We all really liked it there.
After we ate we hit the stores. Michelle helped me fill a box full of Mr. Potato Head parts. I handed her parts while she stuffed. I still don't know how she got them all in there! The sides were bulging and the lid was flapping open. Not only did they allow this, they helped me tape it shut. Next up was Goofy's Candy Co. I had never been. Again, a long wait, but worth it. I think Sara and Michelle got pretzels and I got a rice krispie treat.
After some shopping we declared it margarita time! The girls had margaritas and I had a pina colada. You have to picture this. Three women walking thru the parking lot loaded down with shopping bags and attempting to sip our drinks. Quite a sight I'm sure. It didn't occur to us that we may be breaking the open container law til we were pulling out of the parking lot! Oops.
We decided to go back to the condo to drop off our packages and so our chocolate covered treats didn't melt. By this time my feet were really hurting so I did something I swore I would never do. Michelle had an extra pair of Croc flip flops so I tried them on and I heard angels sing! Instant relief. I must own a pair, but I still won't ever wear the originals!
Time to head back to Epcot. On our way I took some pictures.
Then I look down and yell, "Look! It's a hidden Mickey!" In the console of Michelle's rental PT Cruiser was this:
Next up: Hats around the world and some pictures that should be locked up in a vault never to be seen by the public.
