I don't think I'll post my ideal trip. I'd be embarrassed.

Monica, check out the menus at Garden Grove and Fresh at the Swan and Dolphin. Both hotels are in the Boardwalk loop and both have lunch. The critics say that the breakfast buffet at Fresh is actually the best food on property but very few people ever remember these 2 hotels/restaurants because they are not on the dining plan.

I have not checked out the menus but since you are the picky one, you should check first and then see if either have something you would like and it would definitely be a different place to go--not likely you'd be walking to these hotels with the kids in tow either.

I know that the dinner restaurants at these hotels take ADR's through Disney Dining because I've done that. So I assume the lunch places also take them. I think Fresh has a DVC discount too which would make up for the loss of the DDE discount that these hotels do not accept.

I'm still talking like I'm going to be there for this trip. I'm not giving up quite yet.

Pakey - Glad you are still talking like you plan to be there! :thumbsup2

You guys were chatty here today! Lots of good ideas. I hate to say I don't have an opinion but I really don't. I'm just going with the flow. I am able to go to WDW more often than most of you since I'm so close so I can do whatever we miss another time. I'm just excited to be going on an adult trip! :cool1:

I have heard good things about Spoodles on the Boardwalk though - haven't checked their menu but saw some pictures of the food that looked really yummy. I'm a pretty picky eater too. :rolleyes1

**If you close your eyes and picture all of us on this trip what do you see?
I picture us all sitting around a table by the pool at night having a drink and talking.

We can make ADRs 1 month from tomorrow!!!

Awww...that's sweet! :lovestruc

For something completely different...:rolleyes1

I'm picturing a little bit of troll groping in Norway, and faces buried in a Kitchen Sink! :rotfl:

Sara

Oops - double post. I got too excited thinking about troll groping, I guess.

I never did post my ideal trip. Is it cause I sat there yesterday and didn't know what I wanted to do :confused3 IDK :rotfl: I'm like Michelle and Pakey, very go with the flow (with you all anyway)

If I close my eyes, what I see is us (Pakey included) shopping in the cute little stores in the UK. Kinda Random :lmao:

And maybe run into Winnie the Pooh?:rolleyes1 I get the first dance!

Ok, so Sara and I will plan the rest and just hand out the itinerary! I like what Sara said yesterday. Kona bfast (I'm really wanting to try the tonga toast!), resort hop, DTD, eat at Earl. Thoughts?

If I close my eyes, I see Monica standing in Canada in the moose hat and the rest of us NOT.

Monica, I have never eaten at Kona so I think that sounds like a good idea. And I think DTD in December is always great.

We can always walk over to the Boardwalk on our Epcot day. In fact, after Illuminations, we can always walk out the International Gateway, stroll the Boardwalk and then catch one of the resort buses (I usually walk through Yacht Club) to DTD and then change over to a Pop bus.

There is a piano bar on the Boardwalk called Jellyrolls that has dueling pianos that I say every trip that we are going to it. Still have never been. :rotfl:

They have Tonga Toast at Earl? :lmao:

I'm excited about Tonga Toast! :yay: :yay:

Aren't we planning on walking to the Boardwalk on Epcot day already? I like the idea of going there late so as to see more of the Boardwalk antics. How late is B&C open? I'm thinking LATE NIGHT SNACK! :rotfl2:

Sara

Another one..

I'm picturing a great ride photo on Expedition Everest! :woohoo:

EXCUSE ME?! I never agreed to do this alone! Come on Pakey, we can be Rocky and Bullwinkle!:rotfl:

I love that idea! Pakey you're good with knowing about walking around the deluxes. I'm clueless when it comes to all that!

Very early on Michelle and I talked about Jellyrolls, but I read awhile back that they allow smoking in there and it's really bad.

The kitchen sink for a late night snack! That would be interesting! That's not a bad idea though. Especially if we are eating at Japan around 5.

I'm imagining Pakey wearing Goofy ears and a santa hat, while the rest of us sip on a Dole Whip!:cloud9:

That might work as I don't think Japan has anything dessert worthy in my opinion! Depends how late Beaches & Cream is open I guess. Either way, it may be a good idea to go to the Boardwalk that night so we can catch some of the nightlife.

I'm going to show my ignorance, but here it goes. Beaches N Cream isn't at Boardwalk right?
