Please help with iron ons!!

I am in way over my head as a family of 6 trying to do shirts for all of us for multiple days!! I have invested so much time and $$$ and think it all just went south! I requested so super cute images and downloaded them and sat and printed all of them last night so here we go starting to iron ok so directions on transfers show the image should be mirrored. They didn't come to me that way and didn't print that way. HELP!!! What do I do how do I fix it or can I even salvage the ones I printed it was a lot! Thank you so much for any input and directions. What program are you using to print them? There should be a setting in the program to create a mirror image. To practice getting it right, just use some type of small test picture / jpeg image in regular paper until you figure it out....good luck! The shirts will be worth it in the end.


Worse case scenarion, do only images /pictures on your shirts with no letters/names/writing

The "Mirror" option is usually listed in the preferences that come up in the "printer box" before you hit the print button. This is where you select how many copies to print, etc. The mirror option is only used for "light colored" transfers and these transfers should only be used for white or very light colored Ts. The color of the T-shirts will show through the color of the transfers. If they are too dark, your image will look muddy. Sorry, There is no way to correct the images you printed.

Most of my shirts are colored (orange, navy, red and black) I did have gray and white to do a few I bought dark color for the colored and light for gray and white. I am printing them from my windows photos or Picassa.

When you go to print from any program/website, a printer window opens. You can then hit print from there and it will go to your printer. Before you hit print, you need to click in preferences or advanced (all printers have this feature) and you need to find something that says, flip horizontally, reflect, etc. I'm on a mac with an Epson printer. I go to print, choose "Layout" from there it brings up a menu that offers me different ways to print. One is what direction to print (back to front for example) and one that says "flip horizontal"

Do a print preview before you hit the print button just to make sure you hit the correct button. Also, print onto paper beforehand too. Good Luck

If you bought the paper for colored shirts, they are probably ok. Be aware that there are different directions for white transfers and colored transfers. I only buy for dark tshirts (even on white) and they don't have to be mirrored.
