Please help planning

Hi, I posted this at another place and they told me this is where I will get some help. I've been searching these boards for months for a trip in Jan. for DH, two kids 9 &12, our first trip ever! It is DD BD during our trip. We have rooms for 7 nights at WL I made through Disney with AAA rates. I was hoping to do all the arrangements myself, but have had some health issues over the summer, nothing serious, but have lost all my desire to plan or even take the trip. Wanted to postpone, but DH said let's go. So I need some help with who I should contact to help with rest of plans, what disney travel agent, or AAA disney travel agent. I want this to be a great once in a lifetime trip, but don't want to do it myself anymore. I'm hoping this will help get back the excitement if I get someone else to help with arrangements. Generally a disney travel agent would take over your reservation for you and you could ask around. They would then get the commission. I know on the cruise board they make there ressies and turn them over all the time. So should be the same thing.

BUT, being AAA you might have to only use a AAA travel agent? I know we have one in our town here, so you probably do. They should be able to care of this. However; alot of these places (I know some are better than others) have different type of services and may may not do "regular" disney type planning your looking for. That a "disney" specialized agent would. IE= dinner ressies, fantasmic ressies, and hard to get ressies, special info or last minute discounts. There are alot of these type of travel agents businesses on the web. The disboards are run and owned by a major one = dreams unlimited > www.wdwinfo.com that is there main site, and the travel agent information is there. All you can do is ask?

According to your note you said you made the reserv's thru Disney and got the AAA discount is that correct? So you are not obligated to a AAA Agent or anyone else. Do you have airline tickets set?? Or are you driving and need maps etc.?? You will need to book tickets and make reservations for dinners etc. These things can be done directly thru Disney if you know what you want by calling the DwDining number. And tickets can be purchases online.

Base tickets with added options like: hopper next level would add additional parks (water parks etc.)

Are their any special places you would like to have dinner or any character dining?

Unfortunately decisions will still have to be made as far as these things whether you use an agent or call Disney yourself. But if you need any ideas or help please IM me. I have gone pretty many times and have decent understanding.
