This is first trip we have ever been on with kids! They kiddos will be 5 and one week shy of 3 when we go in December. I'm kind of overwhelmed with how many choices there are in MK. We will have 2 days in MK, and this is what I am TENTATIVELY thinking for FP booking: Mine Train, Dumbo, Jungle Cruise, Speedway, Barnstormer, Peter Pan. But, since we have never been with kids, I really have no idea how long some of the lines are for some of the more 'kiddie' rides. So, we are planning on getting to the park at rope drop or close to it, so I;d love some help on which rides will be crazy later in the day and which ones we could potentially stand by or get a later FP for after we use our 3 up.

I'd probably do Mine Train, Peter Pan and the Speedway because those seem to be the ones with lines that are the longest most consistently. If you go to Dumbo or Barnstormer at rope drop (everyone will be running to mine train) you should have no problem riding them quickly with little wait.

Agree with 3G. Hit Dumbo and Barnstormer first and FP+ the others. If you get there for RD I would even think Speedway should be a very short wait if you hit that right after and FP+ Pooh instead. I would definitely FP+ 7DMT and Pan close together and fill in the gaps. Both Speedway and Jungle Cruise should have FP+ available as a 4th and 5th too.

I would not do dumbo as there is an indoor play area where they will give you a beeper so your kids can play while you wait this might be a good afternoon break where you can cool off in the AC

I would get 7DMT and PP for sure speed way and JC are about the same as fair as wait both are out doors but have cover and kind of boring

Have you considered Enchanted Tales with Belle? I've heard that's a good one to FP.

Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh can have long lines at times, and is a good one to get an FP+ for, especially if you aren't doing the more thrilling rides.

Enchanted Tales with Belle used to be the best one to FP+ back when wait times were 60+ min, but for some odd reason it has really gone down, and wait times average between 10-20 min. So not anymore if you ask me.

We went at a couple days before Christmas on our last trip (when the parks are super busy) and walked right on Barnstormer and Dumbo with no wait at all. So I personally would not use a FP on those. Dumbo used to be really long until they added another one and it's way better.

Buzz lightyear is always pretty crazy and little kids LOVE that one. The 5 year old might enjoy Thunder Mountain too, so you could do a FP for him and an adult for Thunder Mountain and do a FP for the 3 year old and another adult for a different ride, like Winnie the pooh?
