Please help me remember.....

.....the layout of a Studio vs. 1 bedroom vs 2 bedroom and how many each can accomadate. (I know the studio is up to 4).

We toured one of the SSR models @ 1 year ago and now I can't remember the details. Is the washer/dryer only included with the 2 bedroom???

I'm planning for our trip in 2006 and was thinking of renting points. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. (We're seriously considering buying into DVC and thought this may help to finalize a decision)

At SSR:
Studio has 2 Queen beds & a kitchette - small sink, mini-fridge & microwave. No washer/dryer, but they are available for free use in laundry rooms.

1BR has separate master bedroom w/King bed. There is a jacuzzi / vanity room w/sink and a separate bathroom with a shower. The Kitchen has a oven/stove, fridge, dishwasher, sink and microwave - all full size. The living room has a pull out sleeper sofa (full? queen?), a separate padded chair and an armoire w/TV & DVD player. Also has a washer/dryer.

A 2BR is essentially a 1BR and a Studio together.

IIRC, a Studio sleeps 4, a 1BR 5 (no extra cots or bedding) and a 2BR 8. In addition, they all one additional child under 3 - all rooms come with a PakNPlay crib.

Actually, the one bedroom only sleeps 4, BUT Member Services has been told to allow families of 5 in the 1 bedroom without extra bedding or linens. You still only have the kingsized bed and the queen sized sleeper sofa in the one bedroom. One child under the age of 3 is not included in this count.

Are you sure? I thought only OKW studios had two queen beds. The others (BWV, VWL, BCV & SSR) have one queen bed and a sleep sofa.

I know that some of the dedicated 2 bedroom units (at BCV & VWL) have two queen beds in the second bedroom (and that's probably true for SSR as well), but obviously none of those can be reserved separately as a 1 bedroom and a studio.
