I know some of you historians/trivia buffs can help me :) In preparation for my 40th :earseek: I am trying to piece together some of my earliest WDW memories. My family used to go and camp at Ft. Wilderness back when you still got a book of tickets and an E ticket was a big deal. I was also there when River Country opened.

Does anyone know what year they stopped giving out real tickets and went to admission price and when river country opened?

Thanks for any help

From Disney A to Z: “Ticket books were replaced by passports, good for admission and unlimited use of park attractions, in June 1982.”

Good thing for you, the Skyway is still open...although some here may argue with that.
