Please Help me decide POP or ASMU?

Hello,
Let me start by saying we have only stayed deluxe on our annual trips. Now I want to take a quick trip for DD's Bday in March. I have narrowed it down to ASMU or POP? Which do you like better and why? ANy opinions would be great. We are used to Queen comfy beds and quieter resorts, also quick transportation. What do you think? Thanks.

My family is also used to the Deluxes, but I took the kids last Feb. and we stayed at POP. We had a blast! Everything is so cute, the CM's were very nice. We got a great room even with checking in at 11:00 pm. This is the only value with the great location, it is very closet to EPCOT and not that far from MK. The food court and gift shop were large and good. The kids swam, and really enjoyed the pools even without a slide. The only downfall was the smaller bed, but we made do. I don't think I'd like it so much if my DH had been there, but for 3 people it was fine.

We haven't stayed at ASMu yet but we've stayed at ASMo and Pop. Personally I preferred Pop for quite a few reasons. The food court is better, they have cool pop jets, and you don't have to share a bus.

We've stayed at POP and loved it, the food court is big but crowded, I think the theming is excellent. I do suggest that you pay the extra money and upgrade to the preferred rooms so you get closer to the main pool and food court. Watch the buses if you stay at the parks late they can be very crowded because of the size of POP. Have a great time.

If you enjoy comfy beds than go to All Star Music. They just refubished all of their rooms and they have the new pillowtop matresses.

We stayed at POP last Oct., and just returned from ASMu last week. We enjoyed both resorts, and would go back to either one in a heart-beat!

If you want quieter, go with ASMu. POP is bigger, brighter (a bit loud in the color scheme), and noisier. It is also more spread out, so more walking could be involved, depending on where your room is.

The food court at POP was bigger, and offered more choices than the ASMu food court. The gift shop at POP was also bigger.

Bus service seemed comparable at both resorts. POP was maybe a little bit shorter trip to most of the theme parks.

Our rooms at ASMu were recently refurbished. We had wonderful mousekeeping at both resorts.

ASMu had lots of activities going on for the kids (dance parties, hula hoop contests, karaoke, and trivia contests), as well as movies on a big screen shown by the pool every night.

My DH and I would choose ASMu over POP, just because it seemed a little bit more peaceful and relaxed. Two of my DDs preferred POP, and one liked ASMu better. I don't think you can go wrong! Have fun, whatever you choose!

Thank you all for your replies! My thoughts on reading up are right on with Koda's review, I lean a bit towards ASMu even though my DD would like POP better probably. I like the idea of peace & quiet.

I've stayed at both, but prefer POP. I liked Music..it was just fine. It was much quieter than POP. But, my dd and I love the hustle and bustle of POP.
