Please help if you have stayed in the Poinciana Blvd Sub Divisions

We are looking at a lovely home on Cumbrian Lakes which is on Poinciana Blvd south of Windward Cay, Lake Berkley, Indian Pointe and Eagle Pointe.

Other than a brief excursion out onto the US27, we have always stayed on w 192 near Splendid China, within about 5-10 minutes travelling of WDW.

How long does it take to drive from Poinciana Blvd and what is the traffic like? Would you stay in that area again?

I'd particularly love to hear from anyone who's stayed at Cumbrian Lakes. I imagine that it's still pretty much a building site, but that doesn't bother us too much.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can follow Poinciana Blvd up to the Osceola Parkway, pay a small toll (.35 I think) and take it right into the "world". Took us 5mins.

I've stayed in Chatham Park and it does only take a few minutes to get to WDW via the Oseola Parkway! Very easy and convienent.

I actually live on Cumbrian Lakes and you will find it to be a very convienient community. Disney is approx 8 minutes away and Universal about 20 mins.
You can cross over US 192 and join the Osceola Parkway straight into Disney if you wish (small toll) but most people either head up US 535 or along US 192 to get into Disney.

You bet! Let me know where you are before we come and I promise to drop by this time. When we stayed on Sunset Lakes back in 2000 I was too shy, but we'd love to say hello this time.

That's a great trip about the Osceola Parkway. We'll be at Eagle Pointe in a few weeks, maybe I'll check it out one morning.
