Please advise the best Moderate Hotel at Disney

we have stayed at caribbean beach and port orleans riverside.
matter of personal preference.
we liked cb better, theming IS completely different from eachother .
had good rooms both times...only a few mins to pool and food court.
transportation issues at port orleans...took us 45 min to get to typhoon lagoon one day....shared bus stop with french quarter.
both were good, clean, great theming, great services, great location.
customer service was good at both too.
I think if someone looks for things to be wrong or go wrong that it can ruin your stay.
We are heading to coronado springs in sept to try this one out....(fingers crossed for another good experience!!!)

I HAVE heard Coronado has the most "extra amenities" if your into that ( huge hot tub, workout room, tanning bed, internet access, really really big pool and food court! etc....and incidentally it comes highly recommended by the cr's on the telly....lots of good feedback!

My choice would be Port Orleans Riverside. We used to always stay there. My only suggestion is to request a room close to the main lobby... other wise you'll do a lot of extra walking. But if you don't mind that... the wooded areas are so beautiful with lots of wild life.

Just thinking about it makes me home sick.

I agree POR is our favorite we still refer to it as Dixie. Even a room further out is great, the walk to breakfast in the morning is great everyone is so friendly in the morning walking. Everyone with a smile it seems, have a large beautiful pool and several quite pool between some of the buildings.

Mark another one for POR. We have stayed at both CSR and POR, they are both nice, but fell in love with POR, going back in Sep. The grounds are the most beautiful of all the moderates. The only down side I can think of is that the bus serves both POR and PQFQ so the lines can be long, but they move quickly because they have more buses serving them.

We've stayed at all but CBR and hands down, our favorite moderate is CSR.

We held off staying there as we were big POFQ fans, but when CSR was the only thing available, we decided to give it a try and are soooooo glad we did.

Bus service was awesome and we loved the variety and uniqueness of the Pepper Market. We stayed in Cabana 9B and that location was perfect. Close to El Centro, Bus Stop 1 and a very short walk over the bridge to the Main Pool. We also had a Quiet Pool a short distance away.

The business center also came in very handy when we unexpectedly had to overnight something back home.

You really can't go wrong with any of the Moderated as they each offer something special.

We stayed at POR and really enjoyed it ...we stayed in the Alligator Bayou section Bldg 25 facing a quiet pool (not so quiet), which if you look at the map is quite far away from the center or the resort. We didnt mind at all - I loved the peaceful walks in the morning. I never understand when people complain about the resorts being spread out? Your walking all day in the parks...the resort grounds are part of the experience...and the quiet walks helped us decompress after a long day.

This time we are going to try out CBR because I'm a firm believer in not getting stuck in 'ruts' and trying new things.

We stayed at CSR and loved it! It was wonderful. Busses were great, you are only minutes away from any of the parks. CSR does not share busses with any resorts.The only lenthy bus ride was to DTD. I dont care for the wall airconditioners- they are noisey and ugly. CSR has central air. Csr is an upgraded moderate with a spa , gym and beauty parlor. The mattress were pillow top about 12-15 inces I am guessing- I slept wonderfully every night. We totally enjoyed our trip!
