Playstation 3 help

I have 4 kids and we have the PS3. DD is 13, DS is 12, DS is 8, DD is 7. Looking for christmas ideas on what to go with it. We already have Madden, Baseball and Basketball. Looking into Rock Band. Found Rock Band 2 on Amazon for $100. Is that a deal? Does it come with the guitar etc? Are there extras to get? Also looking for "girlie" games. Especially for the younger daughter. Suggestions????????

My kids all LOVE Little Big Planet. It is a game where you can actually create levels. (kind of like getting them used to developing) There are online levels that others have created that are funny(Like the Wipeout level!)
As you play through various levels you collect "stickers" that allow you to expand your levels.

Now all this sounds complicated but my 4 and 6 year old can do this. (their levels are not as great as the ones my 15 year old creates) but they crack up as they play. And get so excited when they get a new costume(sticker) My 12 year old daughter likes it too.

I think Little Big Planet sounds great. I would love for my kids to play less violent games. Can anyone comment on the Rock Band price?????

It comes with the game, drums, a microphone, and guitar. That's a very good price, when it first came out it was nearly $200.

A new game is coming out in Nov. called Band Hero. It's just like Guitar Hero/ Rock Band, only geared more toward the younger crowd.

I agree, Little Big Planet is an amazing game Also, if you're looking for girlie games there is hannah montana: the movie, Up!, Bolt, a few disney singing games, and a series called Ratchet and Clank.
