played Bunco for the first time

last night - we had a great time....

BUt I'm curious why do you think this game has been such a rage for so many years??? Why don't people get together & play something else - like Taboo or Uno or something else -what makes this one the "in" game to play? Is it 'cause it takes NO brains & no strategy?? I was just baffled 'cause I thouht there'd be way more to the game...

Well, for the group in my neighborhood it was about finding a game you can play while getting or being hammered.

Thus, the appeal of a game that requires no brains and needs no strategy to play

Yep, pretty much sums it up for our bunco group too. We don't necessary all get hammered but we need something to play while we gossip also. We've been doing it for 5 years now.
