Play Stay & Dine

Hello!
Debating on a February trip and preemptively playing with numbers before the discounts are announced.

It seems like historically for my dates there is a "Play Stay & Dine" discount available. I know the numbers for this are impossible to calculate until they're announced; however I had a question about the DDP in regards to this promotion.

I would be staying for 8 nights/9 days but would only get tickets for 5 or 6 days.
Would this promotion make me get the DDP/tickets for all 9 days?
Also, if I only for 5 days of tickets and therefore 5 days of DDP credits, would I be able to use those 5 credits across the 9 days? Or would I be limited to only 5 days of using them?

DDP is always tied to the number of resort nights. You'd get 9 days to use 8 nights' worth of credits.

The tickets would likely have a minimum number of days requirement (3 or 4, most likely), but there's nothing requiring your resort nights and park ticket days to match.
