Plastic suction cups for hanging sun catchers ?

I'm trying to hang my sun catchers, and the little silicone/rubber cups won't stick to the windows. I've cleaned both the cups and the window with Windex, and they still won't stick. Any advice?

I had to use larger suction cups--unfortunately not as pretty--but my catchers were just too heavy for the little guys .

Try a little spit on the suction cup. Honestly, I read that somewhere and it works.

I agree with Coliebird--any water actually. But hang low to test first.

I have had suncatchers spontaneously drop.....minutes, hours, days later.

I agree with making sure the suction cup is moist first. It sticks to the window better.

When you go through and clean that room, it's wise to re-wet and re-stick the suction cups so they don't dry out and fall off.

Michaels (or any arts and craft supply store) sell a liquid spray adhesive. It is clear and just lightly spray it on the suction cup and it will stick to the window!
If you decide you want to remove it from the window, just pry it loose with a steak knife and it will pop right off.

Sorry, spitting just didn't appeal to me LOL!

The suncatchers sit on the sill, so the cips just give a little balance. They are the larger ones, so I know that's not the problem. I knew I'd get good advice here!
