Planning timeline??

I saw mention of a planning timeline of things that need to be done, 6 months before, 3 months before, etc. Does anyone do this and where can I find the timeline? TIA!

Most guidebooks such as Birnbaum's Official WDW Guide and Passporter have their own timeline checklists which come in handy.
