Off-site. There was a time when we preferred on-site, mostly when the kids were little. At this point, we have been so many times that I would not pay to stay on-site. The only exception is if I had Marriott points and used them for the Swan or Dolphin. There are other destinations in the world that I'd splurge on in a heartbeat.

Kind of a different reason IMO… I like to keep it fair among some of the members in my party that aren’t into Disney… I require at least 1 non-Disney destination while inside of the area (example: if I were in Disneyland now, I’d have to allow opportunities for other stuff like GardenWalk or even a bit of hang time with my uncle)…
