Planning Help for MK, ADR and FP+

This will be our second trip to WDW in June. We went last year and utilized FP some. This year, it seems a lot harder to plan...I guess cause we have to plan more.

This year we scored an ADR at BOG on June 16 at 5:35 p.m., and CRT on June 17 at 8:15 p.m.

My plan is to do RD, save FP+ for evening, and have some leisure time in resort in the afternoons. That said, I have no clue how to schedule my FP+ around the ADRs. Also, we've never seen the parade or Wishes, so I think we should fit that in there as well. Not even sure what to use for our FP+...DS2 doesn't like drops, so we're going to have to do some splitting up so DS1 can get his thrill on. DH hates crowds and lines.

I need a plan...if our ADR is at 5:35, what time should I make my first FP+ reservation for after that? I think we can plan our FP+ on CRT night before CRT...but what time will we get out of CRT and what will we be walking into at that time?

I know I'm all over the place here and not very specific, but I suppose I need to start with a plan one of the two nights to watch parade and wishes...plan for best FP+ times based upon ADRs and then I can start thinking about the actual ADRs.

I've been reading your thread for the past couple of days. I think I'm on page 24! It's got a lot of great information, and I thank you for taking the time to create it and keep it updated. I've subscribed to it and once I get through the remaining pages tonight, I will keep checking it to stay current on what seems to be a fluid situation.

I think I'm tripping up on the timing of things...how much to allow for ADRs. If my CRT ADR is at 8:15, will I walk out of the castle into the middle of Wishes and a mob scene? If I have an ADR at 5:35, is it safe to start selecting FP+ at 6:30? 7:00?

I generally allow 90 minutes or so for an ADR meal, so in your 5:35p example I'd choose an FP window that starts at 7:00p. The Hub area is crowded for the parade and Wishes, and it sounds like that's about the scene you'd see after an 8:15p CRT ADR.

I wouldn't look to get the FP before 7pm. What if you don't get into BOG at 5:35? This way you don't have to worry.

When we ate at CRT once we took our picture with Cinderella we were out in under an hour. We were rushed through and there was 7 of us. We didn't like it for that reason. So if you get in at 8:15pm you will be out before 10pm (When Wishes is). But the crowds will be there because the Electrical Light Parade is at 9pm.

I have booked CRT at 5.50 and next fp is for pp at 7.30-8.30.
