My family and I have never been to Disneyworld before so I would like to get some ideas on cheapest packages for a family of 6 in late August that includes travel, motels ect..
:cool1:

Are you planning on staying on property or off property? How many kids are in your party? The free dining starts August 15th so that is definitely something to consider if you plan to stay on property.
Where do you live? It would probably be cheaper to fly out of a US airport if that is an option for you. You should defnitely start looking at flights ASAP because the price will go up the closer you get to your departure date.
Maybe contact a travel agency like Fairytale Dreams and Destinations - they don't charge any fees. But if you do go with a Canadian agent, be aware that they can not book you a flight from an American aiport to Orlando:)

This is from the allears site.

I have four kids, triplets age 11, and a younger brother, age 9. Can you tell me which resorts have rooms or small suites that can accommodate all six of us? Our budget is limited, so we would consider two adjoining rooms or a suite or a large room -- just don't know where to look! Thanks!

Hi Laurie!

I would recommend one of the new "Family Suites" at the All Star Music Resort. These mini-suites offer sleeping accommodations for six, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette. They book very quickly, so as soon as you know your trip dates, call and reserve one. Prices range from $179/night to $285/night depending on season. (Prices subject to change.)

If that's not to your liking, you can try the cabins at Fort Wilderness. These sleep six, have a full kitchen, but only one bathroom. Fort Wilderness is a great place to stay if you don't mind the extremely slow transportation to and from the parks. Prices range from $239 to $340 per night, depending on season. Disney sometimes has discounts on the cabins, so be sure to ask about it when you book.

Another great option is two rooms at one of the value resorts. Normally, if two rooms are booked for one family with a parent in each room, the rooms are guaranteed to be connecting. With that open door between the two rooms, you'll have lots of space with four double beds and two bathrooms. Note: Be sure to request connecting rooms and not adjoining rooms. The latter are side-by-side but have no connecting door.

Have fun planning your trip!

A.A.

**If you go with booking two adjoining rooms then know that there must be at least one adult (over the age of 18) in each room.

The fourth option is to look into a DVC suite by renting points or just calling and booking thru disney.

The fifth option is to stay offsite. There are tons of options to choose from there.

I agree if this is your first time to try Fairytale dreams and destinations. They are awesome there.

To book airfare try a website that compares the airlines like www.kayak.com

Good luck.
