Raglan Road is new that's why you hear more about it. Didn't try it yet. PH is good.

Not sure about Ragland Road, but Planet Hollywood does not take ADR's...they do accept the dining plan. We've been once, the food was good. We're going end of August and planning to go to PH again, at DD14s request.

if i had to choose between the two i would go to raglan road, because i havent been yet.
planet hollywood is just a chain restaurant. nothing more. its decent, but tis not going to blow your socks off. its like eating ata fridays or ruby tuesdays, nothing special.

Ate there for lunch about 6 years ago, it was good but very much like a Fridays or Applebees

We were going to have lunch there this past March but the menu didnt wow us (too heavy for lunch and too many burgers and steak entrees) so we went to WPE....much better choice

We really enjoyed the place, but it was dead when we went and we were free to roam all over the place (downstairs was only half full and noone was being seated on the higher levels). so after a huuuuge but very tasty dinner we roamed the other floors taking pictures of every single item for well over an hour. It might be because we are used to the one in London England which is a complete over-priced dump, but we were all very pleased and me and my DF have already put aside one TS credit to go back.

Also if anyone is interested, we just went up to the desk at POP the morning we wanted to eat and asked if they could get us a table. One quick call and they got us one for that day and at the time we wanted, no questions asked :thumbsup2

just an fyi, you dont have to eat there to tour it, they will let you in to walk around.

We ate 9 TS meals @ WDW last September. Planet Hollywood was far and away the best meal out of all of them.

Raglan Road is awesome. It has been ten years or so since I have eaten at PH at WDW and I cannot recall my experience. I do remember that their menu was quite varied in comparison to Raglan Road. We ate at RR for lunch and had hands down the best burgers. I am not a fan of condiments and I order my sandwiches plain. My Mother ordered hers with a tomato chutney and for days she raved about this condiment. We are planning on revisiting both restaurants in October. I would say that you would be safe either place.

I forgot to mention it in my previous post that for dessert at Raglan Road they have a bread and butter bread pudding which only leaves you wanting more. It is served with a small, and I do mean small, pitcher of two sauces. Our server showed us how to get the most flavor by adding the two sauces together to make a much more flavorful dessert. I wish I could remember what sauces they were. One was a white sauce while the other was a light brown sauce. Hope this helps.

I would choose Raglan Road anyday. We did not enjoy PH at all!!! Some people enjoy it, but it wasn't for us. The food was not good, and it was soooo loud!!!

I havent been to Raglan Rd. But did go to PH. Food was good and reasonably priced. Loved all the memorbilia. Cool restaurant to atleast check out.

Planet Hollywood doesnt really have much to it. Its just plain old burgers and bar food. Kind of like a tgi fridays. There are alot of better places to eat in disneyworld. I would try the rain forest cafe or the crab boat.

Last year, and this coming trip as well, when we booked our ADR's they gave us ADR's for Planet Hollywood! We got right in! Maybe you cannot phone PH directly, but you can get ADR's through Disney for PH!

To the OP... PH is great! The decor/theme is awesome and we loved the food! :lovestruc

When I made our ADRs in March for this Sept., Disney dining said they could not make an ADR for Planet Hollywood. Go Figure! We were planning on a lunch at PH.....should I call back and try again for an ADR or are they pretty accomodating at lunch time??

We ate there last year and I really liked it! the Memorabilia all over the walls is really cool to look at and the food is excellent!

Was this for lunch? I was told they make reservations for lunch, but for dinner, it is only walk-up.
