Place to watch football

My husband is a huge NY Giants fan and really wants to catch the game next Sunday at 8pm while we are at WDW. Anyone know if any sports bars or restaurants will have it on? And I know, I know, some of you are like, "Really? During a trip to WDW??" Not crazy about him spending time doing this but he's pretty understanding with my love for WDW

So please no criticism....just suggestions....ty

Most likely places would be the ESPN restaurant on the Boardwalk, or over at the Wide World of Sports.

The Sunday night game will probably be on the TV at any of the bars and lounges around WDW. If you want the major experience, ESPN at the Boardwalk would be the place to go, but I've also spent many a Sunday afternoon at the Outer Rim in the Contemporary watching the games.

I agree with the PP, that you will have no trouble finding a bar with a tv for the Sunday night game.

I'm sure we could help you narrow down best choices. Where are you staying and are you going to watch too?

I gone to ESPN club a few times and enjoy it so thats my personal pick

My fiance loves to go to ESPN Club to watch the game while we are on vacation. It gives him a sense of "normalcy" to sit and and watch the game with a tall cold one.

We are staying at CBR. I would love to go and watch the game too, but that all depends....we have a 2.5 yr old and 3 month old...so if anything I may have an early night with the kids and DH would go check it out. He may very well say nevermind about the game...it's possible. I just want to give him the option.

Understood. I vote more sleep for you and the kids if possible. Sleep seems to be the one thing I forget to do at WDW.

ESPN Club is a good idea -- he'd probably be taxicabbing it back though.

Other ideas if he ventures out -- he might like Fulton's lounge at DTD. Fulton's will be pretty easy to access by bus to/from DTD, and the bar is pretty relaxed. We've watched games there.

I have not been, but other posters have noted Rainforest Cafe at DTD has tvs in the bar too.

ESPN Zone is a great place to watch a game! Great food, great atmosphere!
