Pixiesprite's little 3x4" journal cards ***closed for requests***

Thanks Babycarl3rd, 3x4s are far easier so I prefer to make them as my default size - the smaller size means I can make a lot more clipart work cleanly for them :) However.... if there are any cards that you need as a 6x4 please do mention that when requesting them and that'll be no trouble at all! :goodvibes

Here is your Villains mix & mingle card... it practically DISigned itself, I like it, hope you do too! It's 3x4.

Seriously I totally love the Surf's Up card!!!!! So I thought of a few more cards if your willing.

Cinderella autograph card
Carthay Circle resteraunt filler
World of Color filler

Thank you so much!!!

Wow Babycarl3rd, that was quick!!

sirvin12, delighted you like it, that one took a fair bit of brain power to DISign (you know when you just get a complete blank about something?!) :) I've added your new requests to my list :cool1:

sirvin12, here are your Carthay Circle cards - there is a filler card (with the black slanted lines) and I also made a lined & unlined journal card version of it... hope you like!

I've gone for an Art Deco old style Hollywood chic look as it seems to suit the restaurant & its building. That's also why I wrote "Disneyland" instead of "California Adventure" at the bottom, Disneyland looked fancier and more in keeping with the style of the card - artistic licence :) Plus I think the whole resort is called Disneyland so it still makes sense eh? To me anyway :rotfl2:

I hope I looked hard enough and didn't miss these in all the folders. (PS I think I have downloaded almost every card you have made because they are so cool. LOL)

I was wondering if you might be able to do these three:
Tony's Town Square
Teppen Edo
Hollywood and Vine

Thank you so much for taking a look at my request and again I apologize if I missed these.

Allison

Hi alayne, delighted you're enjoying the cards! Welcome to my new thread, I remember you from our old one :goodvibes

You're right, none of those places have cards yet! I'll add those three to my list for you, should be a couple of days :)

Regarding Hollywood & Vine.... There were some Play & Dine breakfast cards made by another DISigner on our old thread... you can find them on http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=49047711&postcount=172 Were those what you were looking for or is it a more general "Hollywood & Vine" card you'd like? Let me know :)

sirvin12, here is the lovely Cindy for you... enjoy!

alayne, here are your Teppan Edo cards, hope you like them! Two versions - one with a thicker border which brings to mind those lovely Japanese Shoji screens and then also one with the regular thin border in case you prefer the regular style of card.

Now it's time for me to tend to the laundry.... :laundy: and step away from the computer :artist:

Hi sirvin12, here's your World of Color filler card... it could work as a journal card too :) Hope you like it!

That's your current request completed (in record time!)... you know what to do :thumbsup2

btw... it hurts my brain to spell colour without the "u" :lmao:

I like the Hollywood & Vine that are posted but since they have updated the characters I was really hoping for something with Doc and Sofia if that's possible. If not I will be happy to use the ones you have posted.

Thank you so much for working on my request and it's cool that you remembered me.

You are seriously done already?!?!?! Wow! They are awesome as usual. I can't wait to go on my trip cuz I love Disneyland, but I really really can't wait to scrap it now because of you! Thanks again!

So next up if I would really love a 4x6 title card for all the lands of Disneyland. I think it would be cool to do a couple of pages with the title card as the for the first card for each land. Do you think you are up for that challange? If so my first 3 are:

Tomorrowland
Frontierland
Fantasyland

Thanks!

P.S. The Carthay Circle card is perfect! I love the art deco type style.

Babycarl3rd, here is your filler card for MNSSHP... I am about to add it to my own scrapbook page as I needed a titlecard for one page and this will work perfectly so thanks for the inspiration!!

This one worked very nicely in all aspects and orientations so we have three versions... 3x4, 4x3 and 6x4. Happy Days!

alayne, leave the "play&dine" card with me for a few days and I'll see what I can organise!

sirvin12, interesting!!! I have an idea... keep an eye out over the weekend :)

Next up for me are some more filler cards:
Carousel of progress
Villains dance mix and mingle
MNSSHP

Thanks! You're the best!

Babycarl3rd, here is your Carousel of Progress filler card (3x4"), this came together in no time at all once the idea settled in my head.... I think it looks like a classic Sci-fi book cover (the lens flare is inspired by the new Star Trek movie guy... he does enjoy his lens flares :rotfl: http://www.collegehumor.com/video/6890554/all-the-lens-flares-from-jj-abrams-star-trek!) :) Hope you like the card!

Hi Pixiesprite!

I'm glad you're back at making cards again you do such a great job! I was wondering if you could make a few cards for me?

1) Joy of Tea (it's a stand in Epcot in the China area...it's a must do stop for us. The Strawberry and/or Peach Oolong Iced Tea are amazing!)

2) L' Artisan des Glaces (the newish ice cream shop in Epcot in the France area)

3) Spice Road Table (the new restaurant in Epcot in the Morocco area)

4)Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar (the restaurant in Epcot in the Italy area)

I tried to look all of the cards, so I'm sorry if I missed any that you already made. Can you tell that Epcot is one of our favorite places, and that we really enjoy eating while on vacation. I'm totally open to anything that you want to make (filler cards, journal cards, whatever). Thank you for all the time and energy that you put into making all of the amazing cards. :)

PaulaMarie, long time no see/read... welcome to my new thread :wave2:

Very exciting list there, I will add them to my pile! I love Epcot too, so many delicious foods (and drinks!) there, yum :)

Lots of restaurant cards in the mix this morning, you folks are making me hungry... time for second breakfast methinks!

First up....
...
Tony's Town Square
...

alayne, here are your cards for Tony's Town Square, enjoy! 2 versions - with and without Lady & the Tramp... I haven't eaten there but google tells me it has a Lady & the Tramp theme :)

2) L' Artisan des Glaces (the newish ice cream shop in Epcot in the France area)

3) Spice Road Table (the new restaurant in Epcot in the Morocco area)

4)Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar (the restaurant in Epcot in the Italy area)...

PaulaMarie, here are some of your cards, I hope you like them!

L'Artisan is a mash-up of the style of the shop's sign plus the colours & writing from the menu board inside the shop and yes... the lack of a "u" in flavours is still spinning my poor brain! Spice Road is a copy of a menu I found online - nice and simple yet still beautifully Moroccan! And Tutto is a copy of the menu board - I am quite pleased with how that turned out... it looks quite real... plus the wall behind it is real... it was borrowed from an online photo of Tutto Gusto :)

I haven't eaten in any of these places yet... they all look fab... adding them to my "must-visit list!!".

They look AMAZING Pixiesprite!!! I love them! I'm so glad that you're back to making the 3x4 cards. We haven't made it to those three yet either (ha,ha). We're hoping to make reservations for them when we go this October. When it comes to vacation we enjoy the attractions, but we love to eat. Vacation time is when all diets go out the window and we just enjoy all things tasty. Thank goodness for all the walking that we have to do at Disney! haha

Here's your Joy of Tea cards PaulaMarie, delighted you like your cards so far!!

That completes your current request, you are now free to request some more :goodvibes

- Joy of Tea - China - Epcot -

October is wonderful in WDW :lovestruc Shushhhhhh.... don't tell my kids but.... I am planning a week ON MY OWN over there in October, I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Diagon Alley should be open by then :cool1::cool1: Trying to decide where to stay and whether I should seriously treat myself and stay at the Yacht Club.... I think I'm worth it :lmao: Actually I should make a card for the Yacht Club to prepare for it!!

...
1) Joy of Tea (it's a stand in Epcot in the China area...it's a must do stop for us. The Strawberry and/or Peach Oolong Iced Tea are amazing!)...

Thanks again Pixiesprite!! The card is perfect as usual. :) That should be a fun trip for you! For a solo trip you might as well go all out and pick a hotel that you love (or have always wanted to stay at). I've never been to Universal, but I've heard that the Harry Potter attraction is amazing, and the sketches of the new area looks really cool as well.

We're going the last two weeks in October. I'm super excited it's my Dad's first trip, my husband's first trip, my parents 41st wedding anniversary, and my cousin's 30th birthday trip. It's also the first time that we'll be down there for Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (even though we're not sure if we're going to that yet or not).
