Pirates Wait Times Yesterday

Maybe an odd question but did anyone happen to notice the Pirates wait times yesterday? I wanted to check on it’s last day but I completely forgot. I was curious if there would be a big spike for the infamous scene.

I saw some Disney blogger types on Twitter going absolutely ballistic because it was down late afternoon/evening and I think everyone was scared it wouldn't reopen... putting their 'last ride' status in jeopardy.

But I think it did eventually open at some point. Sorry, I'm not sure about wait times. I'm kicking myself because I was right there yesterday AM and could have ridden it with no wait around rope drop, but didn't (forgot it was the last day before refurb).

. Yes, it is closing to change the auction scene with the red head. She will no longer be auctioned off. She will still be part of the ride but I believe the auction scene will now be chickens.

Yes, it's closed 2/26/2018- 3/18/2018 for a scene adjustment (and who knows what else).

This X a billion. The political correctness craze has taken away our sense of humor as a nation. My goodness.
Good Lord, Have we nothing more important to worry about than a ride in WDW?
I put plenty of blame in Disney's court as well for bowing to the (super) vocal minority. Have some stones Disney

LOL! I was going from memory. Looked into it more and it appears they'll be auctioning off goods they've stolen from others. Those are the pirates we know and love!

I agree 1000000%. Anyone with a brain realizes it's just a ride and not reality. Political correctness gone crazy!!!
