Pirates of the Carribean

Just wondering what is your favorite individual part of the ride. One small part or aspect that really stands out for you each time you ride it.

I always loved the scene (even before the movie) where the jailed pirates are trying to call the dog with the keys. I can almost feel their frustration.

Do you have a favorite???

Ah, one of my favorite rides. I love the guy with the hairy leg that's sitting over one of bridges. I also love the detail in the scene where they're dunking the one guy in the well, one of the other prisoner's knees are shaking and the other's lip is quivering. Just gotta love the little details

I like the cool segues (drops) at the beginning of the ride here in CA...haven't ridden in Fl, yet, tho.

For me, it comes down to two scenes:

1) The same as yours, lynsue. I love the jail scene. In fact, on our last trip, my DW bought me a trading pin of that scene complete with the dog and key!

2) At the beginning of the ride, I love the skeleton at the wheel of the ship with the wind blowing all around.

I like the auction ("We wants the redhead") and I also like mayor Carlos being dunked in the well.

It's the dog for me too. They sell a cool keychain that features a replica of the famous key. I had to buy it. It hangs in my kitchen.

But my fave is looking at the sky when the cannons start flying.

I love the cannonball scene...(If only Captain Jack Sparrow was in it..anywhere!!), and the We Want the Redhead Scene, though not politically correct I think it is great....

I am also a reddish hair lady....

In the scene with the cannons shooting from the pirate ship there's a pirate with a patch over both eyes. I love that and most people have never noticed it.

As soon as you asked the question, the first scene to come to mind is the pirates in jail with the dog. I love that part!

I like the Passed Out Pig with the Twitching Leg.... He's by the Hairy Leg Bridge

The dog with the key in his mouth has always been my favorite. The last time we were there we also bought the pin! It took me awhile to really notice the detail of the guy on the bridge with the hairy leg.

I also love the "hairy legged"pirate! I just love it when you enter the room with the battle going on and cannon balls flying. Its great!

I love the entire ride - I just hate the fact that they have shortened it. We rode it on the 14th of this month and I was so disappointed because of that. It's still one of my fav rides though
