Pirates League in New Orleans Square???

I read this was coming to Disneyland as of Sept 1st. Can anyone confirm if it is there? If so, do you need to make reservations?

I pretty sure it's there now, if it's not it will be soon. You can make reservations, the same number you call for dinning reservations. Have fun

The Pirates League

We were there on Monday and it seemed like they were taking walk-ups. Wasn't too busy.

This looks like it could be fun. Is it like the pirate version of BBB? Based on the link, it looks like they dress you up, teach you to swashbuckle and give you the pirate oath? Who's done this before?

Would it work for a 5 year old? Do they take pictures? How long does it take? Thanks!!!

This is new to DL. There is a WDW version where you can get the "full package" with outfit and all like BBB and then you take the oath and go back to a meet and greet where personal pictures are not allowed but they do take Photopass pictures. They had Capt. Jack Sparrow, Angelica, and Pirate Goofy in the past. I don't know if they're doing the same thing here. Our appoinments are for mid October, hopefully someone here goes before me and can comment on thier experiance and post some pictures.

there there *pats head* it's only temperary. If it does well, they'll make a more permanate home for it somewhere else. It it doesn't it'll just disappear.

I was assuming it's location ruined her favorite part of Disneyland so I was wondering if it took the place of a store (from my last trip in '06 I remember two stores and the restaurant but know I missed things). The posted link took me to a disboard forum list but topics never loaded if there were any.
