Hello,

I already know that in the Fjords cruise there is no pirate night (there are no fireworks either). But I have seen the menus of other sailors, from Norwegian cruises, and one of the nights is the pirates of the Caribbean menu, and pirate clothing is recommended. Is there a pirate night on these cruises? The characters are dressed as pirates? and there is Jack Sparrow?

I like the idea of going themed dressed up for a day, like in the Bahamas/Caribbean, but I don't know if there is a night like that in Fjords cruises.

Thanks!

Of course things can always change, but we were on the Fjords cruise last August and there was no pirate menu or pirate clothing suggested at all.

We had the frozen menu instead of the pirate menu on our 7nt Fjords cruise this summer. We didn't go to the deck dance party (Mickeys color block?) they held. No pirate night outfits or anything. Our previous Northern cruises had a Frozen deck party, but just the menu this year.

It is a pity that we cannot know the program in advance to bring appropriate costumes or be prepared.

You can email DCL and they will give you the schedule (forma/semi-formal nights, theme nights, etc). If you're in the social media group for your specific cruise someone will usually post it there as well.

As PP said, when your activity booking window opens if you see pirate makeovers one day in BBB, then you know you have a pirate night.

Aug 2022 fjords cruise was Frozen show on deck as well as the dinner menu. Pirates of the Caribbean doesn’t really fit in with the North Sea / Norwegian Sea vibe.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I will contact them later.

Thank you all for your opinions

As fireworks are not allowed in Northern Europe, Norway, UK, Ireland, Iceland etc etc they dont do Pirate Night menu in the MDR. It has been Frozen Night menu in the MDR for the last number of years. In 2022 they did Freezin The Night Away Deck Party of the Norwegian Fjords, but in 2023 they didnt.
