Pirate Menu Changing This Week

Sadly whoever sent in the pictures didn't take one of the desserts. I thought I'd read those weren't changing, but that think you described doesn't sound familiar. I'll probably end up with a Mickey bar anyway. :/
That was me! We were still in port so I was on my International Data texting Scott and had already sent the menu pictures since it was brand new and knew people would want to know. My server had already said the dessert menu didn't change and since I needed to turn off my data and put back into Airplane Mode, I didn't take pictures of the dessert menu or send them. SORRY!! :)

Sorry. I hope that they'll improve them by the time you're on it Or maybe your taste buds are different and you'll enjoy them. I don't mean to spoil it for you. Three of our table mates did have the Lamb and they loved it.

You definitely haven't spoiled anything for me. On the contrary, I like hearing people's opinions. I'll probably wind up ordering the brie and noodles even though you didn't enjoy them because there's really no risk when trying MDR items. Worst case scenario is that I have more room for dessert than expected.

It's ok! I figured it was because it was the same as someone else said. No problem!!

new menus often require a few sailings before the chefs get things "just right". When the baked brie was first added to the Royal court menu it was terrible; they seemed to have improved that. Same with the lobster macaroni on that menu. We were the 2nd sailing to have it and it was awful - way too much tarragon and hardly any lobster or sauce at all. I've since read several reviews where they enjoyed the dish.

Haven't read the whole thread, but we did have the new menu last week on the dream. Didn't really care for any of the appetizers, soups or salads, I had the fennel quinoa salad and it was ok. Others at the table ordered the shrimp cocktail which was served in a pint mug? and they enjoyed it. We ordered jerk chicken, the lamb shank, the strip loin, the roasted rib salad and the falafel. All were good. Fruit cobbler was apple.

We just got off the Magic and I was sad to see the rib go until I realized it was on the Braised BBQ rib salad. I didn't care for the salad, but the rib was DELICIOUS as always, super tender and tasty. We enjoyed the Samosas too including the Tamarind dipping sauce.

Was the yogurt on the side?
