Pin offer out..covers dates thru 2009

My DH and I have been to WDW 4 times in the past 4 years and he received the 40% off email the other day. All of our trips have been booked in my name with my email. My DH is only signed up to receive the Disney newsletter through the website - we have never booked a trip using his email address, never ordered a planning DVD with his email address - so, I guess some of these codes have nothing to do with how many times you have been to WDW and some must be randomly selected through their newsletter database? My email address is signed up for everything - all of our trips, planning DVD's once a year (including the cruise one), the newsletter and I have never received a code. Funny - maybe they are trying to entice people to go (that they think have not been)?

What does the e-mail say or look like, I'm afraid I'd miss it if it goes to my junk mail. Thanks for any help.

I have a question. If you get a pin code can you only use it once. I've got to check with BF but he might have this. He disregards a lot of Disney email. Can you only use it once or can you book several trips under the code? BF and I are planning several weekend trips next year instead of week long trips. It covers date for dates for 4 weekends we were looking at.

Thanks.

Just a few answers to some questions:

First I GOT A PIN CODE, I don't believe I've received an email like that in about 5 or 6 years.

Second, it's 40% off but my dates end June 6th all the same dates as the others up till then.

Third, it does say for value (but I will check tomorrow what the deal is and report back)

Fourth, Last stay was September 2007

Last, I LIVE IN PLYMOUTH MA  so hope for those of you who live in the states ;)

Again, the email came today, it has a pin code attached 40% off value resorts and dates are the same as the Canadian's only mine ends June 06, 2009 must book by March 09.

I will report tomorrow what I find out after call :)

Just got a pin code for some dates this year yet and dates next year - but only 20% off. And I have NEVER gotten a code before. This doesn't excite me though, I can get 20% with AAA.

For those of you looking to book next year, go on the WDW website and save an itinerary. I got this E-mail a couple days after I did that and it was directly related.

You can definitely use the code more than once. I booked 3 trips using my 40% off code. (On one of these occasions I even booked 2 rooms. The agent actually said I could book up to 3 rooms, but I know it has been limited to only 2 rooms in the past).

Last year I also booked 2 bouncebacks on the same check-out day before we left.

It is from "Disney Destinations" and states in the subject line "40% off select Disney Value Resorts!‏" Hope you have one too!!! :goodvibes

I got the same Pin Code, but its for my DD and HER family, but thru MY email!:headache: So, can I use it but use MY name or not?:confused3

I got the same pin code about an hour ago with 40% off, its very exciting considering its for all of 2009!!!!:yay:

My Update..........

Well I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations and here is what I learned with regards to my pin code.

First, it is good for all those dates stated in the Canadian one, there is a calendar attached to the email that gives you all the dates. You have to book within those dates you cannot go outside of them (i.e. if dates are October 15th - 27th you must check in no earlier than the 15th and check out no later than the 27th otherwise you will pay full price for the extra day(s) and they have to do separate reservations).

Second, this does included theme park tickets and dining plan if you wish.

Thirds, there is a problem with the code as of right now. When I made my ressie I noticed it was the same full price to which the CM (who was an absolute DOLL thank you Othello) checked on it and thanked me for finding the glitch. They will call me back with the correct amount for my stay on Monday it will take a few days. Now here's the weird thing, he asked me if I was a Florida resident because the code is for Florida residents....huh..:confused3 I said nope and stated my sister was but she doesn't have the same name as me (my family's name is clearly on the email) nor does she share the same email nor have we been to Disney World together ever (plan on changing that one this year :) ). I believe he was a bit mistaken there or whoever sent him the email he received when we were talking was. He gave me a 3 digit code instead of my looooonggg...PIN code to use when or if I want to make any changes, again this may be where the confusion comes in and someone gave him the wrong 3 digit code or those of us getting the pin codes are getting resident rates.

Anyway, I have made my reservation for October 25th thru the 31st for 6 nights at the CR AtriumClub MKV  with dining and 1 day park ticket, I need to figure out how many days I have left on ours from last visit we may have enough who knows if not we'll upgrade when we get there. I also asked if it was okay if wanted to change the dates considering we may want to go in December instead and he said NO problem :) We did have to leave a 1 nights deposit which he didn't charge me yet due to the "glitch" and have up till 6 nights prior to arriving to cancel with no penalty. That there alone is a great feature to this code thing.

So there ya have it! Any other questions, let me know and I'll see if I can answer them...except I believe I've already told you everything I know :lmao:

GOOD VIBES TO ALL WHO ARE WAITING!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh, I hope I get this code! I never receive emails from them with pin codes but I have received postcards in the mail before.

I am a Florida resident, did you have to call to get the pin or did you get in your email???

LoriZH- if you are checking out Oct. 31, does this mean you got the 40% for only the 25th and 26th?

No, my dates state the 25th of October to the 31st, so I check in on the 25th and out on the 31st. We may or may not check in a day early or a day later and just pay full price since we already have our tickets. Are some people's dates different? I am going to match up dates I thought they were the same as mine, but October 25th-31st are definitely some of the dates.

Let me match up what others are posting with mine and I'll get back to you.

UPDATE: Okay Adisneyqueen, I think you're asking this regarding my "dates" I put at the beginning of my post, those were just examples not real dates :) sorry about the confusion I just didn't have the dates at my disposal when I wrote that.
