Nov. 15Nov. 21, 2009
Nov. 29Dec. 5, 2009
Dec. 13Dec. 24, 2009
Wish I could say she was taking advantage of it!
We are going..but no email for me..and it doesn't cover our dates anyways.
Suprised they are already releasing something that covers all of 2009.
So only our Canadian friends have received this pin offer so far?
I thought the pin was for value only, so...it's for all resorts? Also, what percent did they offer you at WL?Thanks for everyone who responded to my questions about whether I should use the PIN code for our reservation for Jan 8-11 at WL. You guys did make me see the logic of calling to change to a room only reservation; I don't know what I was thinking.Anyway, so when I called to make the change, I had a pleasant surprise; the CM told me that she *could* apply the PIN to our package!
However, there were no standard rooms left with the discount, so we upgraded to a woods view bunk bed room and still saved $250 on our three night package with dining!
My day has officially been made. So, if there's anyone else who has gotten the code, know that you *may* be able to use it with a package, despite what was originally stated.
I can't believe this...I always read about everyone else's good fortune re PIN codes, bounceback offers etc. I always update my Disney profile and get nothing. We went once in 2006 for free dining at WL. I just found this thread and checked my email for fun. I can't believe I got a PIN!! BUT....we just went on a really big vacation to Disneyland/SoCal this summer...can I convince DH to go back to WDW???

Your turn is coming! Seems Disney rotates. This year, the offer was released for US residents first . The year before was Canadian first and then next year back to Canadians first?
This is been my third year receiving the pin offer. This has been my observation.

ok i didnt look at all the pages of the thread...but i was wondering when u guys get the "special email code" what does the email say ...like from disney world dept or what? i need to look thru my spam folder to make sure i didnt trash it. thanks
Also, to those who got the code, when you book, would you mind sharing what rate you got per night on the resort? Thanks.
She was talking about who gets sent the emails/postcards first, Canadians v. Americans, not the actual individuals. We've never gotten a PIN email. We've been going since 2002, sometimes as much as 5 times in a year. So they don't seem to rotate the emails. Some people never get one...
Yes. People who have never been to Disney get codes. It’s random. Marketing picks a qualification and sends to those people. It might be those who order a planning DVD or costume maps. It might be based on who is (has) looking at booking a trip but hasn’t. It might be people who are registered with a certain family size or ages. It might be people who subscribe to a certain newsletter. It might be people with odd numbered addresses. No one knows. It’s just pure random luck and how many times you (or haven’t) been to Disney is irrelevant.Has anyone ever rec'd a PIN that is in the midst of booking their first trip? Or do PIN's only get assigned to someone who's visited Disney at least once already?![]()
I just booked WL-standard for the first week of Dec. 09 with our PIN code. The rate per night came out to $144. I'm sooo thrilled, we have never stayed at this resort before. It looks wonderful!
And for those who asked, yes, it can be applied to a package.
