PIN Code Restrictions??

My parents got a pin sent to their address that they have no plans to use. The Name on the offer address lists their last name only (no first name).

I went on the website, entered the unique code while signed into my MDE account. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/pin-enter/(The website also only asks for a last name). It let's me go all the way through booking and select me, my wife, and 2 girls as the guests staying at the resort.

The only thing is it said it would mail our travel documents to my parents house. No problem there as we live 5 miles apart and I stop by there a few times a week. So my question is would using this blow up on us? Nowhere does it say I have to verify I'm my mom or dad, The Last name matches, the address isn't a problem. I'm just wondering if we could book on this code or not?

It's possible. The pin should state on the offer non transferable. If they verified at check in, they could potentially bump you to full price since the offer isn't for you. Would they? I don't know. Could they? Absolutely.

It's not something I'd do personally. Not worth the worry IMO.

Thanks for the response. We wouldn't even be interested in it except it has different room availability than the Late Winter room only offer and has exactly what we want. I'm not sure we're going to risk anything here but if anybody else has personal experience with using a parents Pin I'd be interested to hear about it (especially whether they checked name or address at check-in)

If anybody is reading this thread for future informational purposes:

I called Disney World Reservations to ask some questions and managed to transfer to a supervisor (after getting terrible answers from the first CM). Here are the restrictions they told me would apply:

- An adult (Any Adult) from the household named on the offer must be present to use the PIN offer. They must have a valid ID showing the PIN address as their home address. They say this will need to be shown at check-in.

- That person must be named as the lead person on the reservation

- Minor children (even if they live at the named household) do not count, it must be an adult

Looks like I need to work on talking my sister into coming with us now! Hope is not lost yet.
