Gawd, I love a good Bendy food report. Haven't been on in a while but decided with a November trip in the hip pocket I better hop on the Dis and see what Oybolshoi has to say. Getting ready to start with post 1.

Welcome back! I don't know that there's much here yet of any use but I'm always happy to have more DISfriends join the fun! Have a great trip next month. :goodvibes

Cheese bubo?!? Siccccccccck. :rotfl2:

I do agree, the No Way Jose lost a little bit of it's "wowwwwwwwww" (jaw hits floor) factor, but it still looks extremely yummy.

Can't wait to hear more! :thumbsup2

It was pretty gross, wasn't it? :lmao:

The No Way Jose just isn't as sexy when it undergoes mitosis. It was good, just not as good as we remembered it being.

I wish I didnt have issues with lactose. I would love to try a No Way Jose. It even looks good in smaller portions. ;)

That's a bummer Bridget. I wouldn't mind not having the ice cream as much as I would mind not being able to eat cheese. :scared1:

Yay:cool1: You started your Dining Review! Your cheeseburgers and fries looked pretty good from the picture I thought! The No Way Jose definitely didn't look as good as it normally does in the big goblets! They looked pretty messy actually:confused3 I still find it hard to believe they ran out of goblets to serve them in! Looking forward to your next update.:woohoo:

Hey!! I'm in!!

My husband and I have to try that sundae!!! WOW!!!! Look's amazing!

I think I said this to you in person (weird to say that, huh?), but the mini version of the Jose sounds good to me, as I don't share mine. If I order it in its normal massive original form, I tend to order very little "real food" in order to save room for the ice cream.

I wish they had the mini version all the time!

YEA!!!!!!!!! Great start  Now get some rest and feel better!:goodvibes

Don't you know that the only thing you're supposed to bring home from WDW is a hangover and a few extra pounds? Sheesh! You turn 40 and you're completely falling apart! :sad2:

Hope you feel better soon!

Great... I'm 45... what's left of me... :rolleyes1

It's a little harder to have ice cream $ex when you're having it from 2 separate beds...

That's some pretty big miniatures! I'm impressed that you have a husband who will still share desserts with you; the longer we're married the more protective Jim gets with his food! :rotfl:

Welcome to food party! The No Way Jose is usually a fantastic dessert ... I think it just lost something in translation when it was split apart. But I can be picky that way. ;)

I bet if you ask them the next time you are there they would do it for you. Can't hurt to ask, right? And I totally understand about needing a smaller version because one year I ordered a Milky Way Sundae and Jay ordered Jose and I couldn't finish mine ... not even close. I had to call in the reserves! :lmao:

Thanks Chelsi! I bet Sledge would have loved a No Way Jose. :rolleyes1

That's my whole point. :rotfl2:

They were big, but they had to be since they weren't going to knock anything off the price. ;) Jay and I try to share dessert as much as possible ... it doesn't always work, mind you, but we try (fewer calories that way). :goodvibes

Share??? :confused3 No Way Joses! I don't share :lmao:

:rotfl2: I'm less inclined to not share my cheese! :lmao:

I definitely brought home the extra pounds (six to be exact) and a sleep deprivation hangover ... maybe that's why I ended up sick. ;)

Thanks Michelle, and everyone else for the get well posts. I can't say I'm feeling any better but I'm not any worse so I guess that's something. I would just like to stop hacking and wheezing all over the place.

That same thing happened to me they gave me my No Way Jose in a soup bowl and I thought that it would be fine but it totally wasnt. It just wasnt the same and wasnt as good. I was a little annoyed too and hope that when we go again in December i can get my No way Jose in a real goblet. Love the reviews cant wait to hear more.

Thanks for stopping by to take a read! :goodvibes

So you got the soup bowl treatment, too, huh? I just don't get that ... the dessert is way to big for one of those bowls and the presentation is half the fun. Who doesn't want a sundae served in a goblet the approximate size of a human head? And you're right - the taste wasn't the same ... I wonder if it has to do with how they layer the toppings and the ice cream and the chips in the goblet.

Good luck in December ... demand a goblet. It's a moral imperative!! :thumbsup2

Oh boy, you are making me miss B&C so much right now..have not been there for a few trips and I am jonesing for a No Way Jose, but I need the goblet thank you very much! I agree about the dueling spoons, fighing for a scoop with more peanut butter sauce than hot fudge etc!

Feeling better yet?

What a letdown with the sundae!!! That does seem pretty strange that they would be out of goblets... The end result did look pretty tasty, though!

Denise

Yummmm...NWJ....I think I'm going to have to make a little side trip to B&C next week....

Glad you're feeling better!!:goodvibes

Hiya Nickster! Make sure you ask for a goblet ... I'm beginning to think it's like the Gardenview Lounge and their press pot for tea pot scandal. ;)

Hi Denise! I can't say that I'm feeling better but at least I'm not feeling worse. I am getting tired of coughing so much that my abdominal muscles hurt. :headache:

As for dessert - it was tasty but not the same kind of tasty that we remembered from our last visit. Maybe we were just expecting too much after a two year absence from B&C. It was still fun, so that's all that really matters. :goodvibes

Just make sure you reserve a goblet in advance! Have a great trip!

Count me in...I LOVE your reports and just in time before our December trip...I may see something extra special that I want to try!! :woohoo:

Looks so good! I might be getting that in December...unless the fond memories of my banana split are too much for me to handle!
