I was just thinking of that Police Squad movie in which Priscilla Presley asks "Would you like to come in for a nightcap?" and Leslie Nielsen replies (completely deadpan) "No thanks. I don't wear them."

I feel your pain Bendy! Somehow I manage to fall before every Disney trip. Last year I slammed into the sidewalk and had a dislocated knee cap, back in June I fell up the stairs (yes, you heard me) and had a sprained ankle, I wonder what injury I'll sustain later this month. :rotfl2:

I'm sure you'll bounce back as the prospect of international boozing draws even closer. Booze makes everything better.

Since you already had a trip, I'll wish you a fantabulous vacation! :rotfl:

Thanks Goosie! Same to you and yours!

Alright everyone ... I know I said I was done changing things but I spoke too soon. I just canceled Citricos on the 15th and replaced it with dinner at Bistro Paris. The menu at Bistro just sounds more appealing right now, so that's what we decided we wanted for dinner. And then we're going to meet some friends for some boozing around the Epcot resorts. :cool1:

I find this a highly satisfying way to cap off our first full day at the world. :thumbsup2

Sounds great! I have a feeling my night will end early because the FF dinner starts at 5:30pm.

Would you mind terribly if Jay and I pressed our faces up against the glass at Flying Fish to see how your dinner is going? :rotfl2:

That would be " a highly satisfying way to night-cap off "!:rotfl2:

and YES! it is!:cheer2:

:cool1: See you on Thursday!!

Somehow you always manage to bring up movies that I adore. That movie is truly one of my favorites ... I know exactly which scene you're talking about. :lmao: And I don't wear nightcaps either.

No more injuries for you!

And luckily for me I'm bouncing back pretty good. Still stiff in the mornings but that was already par for the course with the cooler weather moving in. It feels much better today. :thumbsup2

I had booze today, too; it's medicinal properites are amazing! Thanks for the good vacation vibes ... we'll do our best to have some terrific adventures to share with everyone once we get home.

Greetings my friends! We are officially on vacation even though we don't leave for WDW until the 14th. This gives us plenty of time to get organized and finish packing. It also gives me plenty of time to recover from the unintentional tenderization I gave myself yesterday.

Stinktown was on the receiving end of anywhere between 3-4 inches of rain between early Thursday morning and Friday afternoon, so to say that things were wet and slippery is an understatement. And when you're a clumsy girl like me ... well, let's just say that I left the office to run an errand yesterday at lunch and found myself planted in the parking lot on my butt faster than you can say, "dont trip on those painted lines!" :rotfl2:

The good news is that while I feel like someone has beaten the left side of my body with a baseball bat, it's no worse today than it was yesterday and my mobility hasn't been impaired (just don't touch me ... that hurts right now!).

Better news came in the form of a phone call from Y&B Club private dining about the birthday cake I ordered for next week's DISmeet ... not only are they going to top the cake with a white chocolate Goofy statue, they are going to paint him for me, too!!! :cool1::cool1:

I cannot wait to see the final product next week and share cakey goodness with my DISfriends!!! :woohoo::yay::dance3:

You know... I'd send you a get well card for that one... but you just have to go dig the last one out of the trash... ;)

Would you mind terribly if Jay and I pressed our faces up against the glass at Flying Fish to see how your dinner is going? :rotfl2:

Just don't drool down the window... :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your fall Brenda :sad2: Hope you're feeling better soon. And if not just increase your booze intake and you'll be feeling no pain:rotfl:

The cake sounds great:thumbsup2 I'm a big Goofy fan myself -- can't wait to see it!

Wishing you safe travels and looking forward to meeting you and everyone else on Saturday night!:goodvibes

Of course I'm in at your new food review. Looking forward to your report.

Actually I just save them all now and whenever there is a new chronic diagnois or battery of tests I pull 'em all out again!

I thought that licking the glass would actually be a pretty bold statement. :rotfl2:

Looking forward to seeing you Saturday - have a safe trip!!

Happy to have you here, ma'am! Jay and I will do our best to make this the most entertaining review yet - gotta go out with a bang ... actually to plagarize the universe, "a big bang." :lmao:

Surely, you don't mean this.

Yes I do and don't call me Shirley.

AIRPLANE!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

The movie that probably started it all ... Jay swears that if I hadn't been exposed to movies like this in my formative years that I would be a much more sane, normal (boring) person. :lmao:

Yeah, but what fun would that be:rotfl::rotfl:

Just printed off our boarding passes for our SW flight tomorrow morning ... A Group ... positions 20 and 21. :cool1::cool1:

Something about checking in on-line and having boarding passes in my hot little hand makes the trip seem so much more real!! :yay::woohoo::banana:

Hey-
Did you know you can now pay and extra $10 a person for early-bird check in. They check in for you and you get a good number without having to sit online and check in at 24 hours while you could be drinking or eating! :lmao:

Yeah ... actually I did do that but I wanted to print the boarding passes anyway this morning. I figure it will really come in handy on the return trip home. :thumbsup2

I hope you have a great trip!! I look forward to your reviews when you get back!!!!
