I live on an Air Force base, so I didn't pay attention to the background on this picture, but my mom thinks there are very strange things in the background!!

meliahz, I've never been to Hawaii but my husband has. He said that all the experlatives you hear about how beautiful it is don't even begin to prepare you for the magnificence of those islands. It's the #1 place I want to visit one day.

From my corner of the world... Thursday evening on an horrifically hot day.

When I saw this sandhill crane footprint, all I could think of is, if it got frozen in time, someday a thousand years from now people would look at it like we look at dinosaur tracks.
