Not great shots at all... but thought i would toss these out here....
Watched the shuttle go off from here in Ocala, FL... was near powerlines and could feel the energy coming off from them and was first time in that spot.

both this one above and one below are same... just cropped closer below. This is the separation of the external rocket boosters

Love the shuttle launch photos. They were broadcoasting the launch live on one of the HD channels last night, it was pretty spectacular watching it in HD, not the same as being right there but pretty darn close.

I love Catalina Island. It is one of the prettiest places I have been along with san Diego.

Took the boat to Catalina and then the helicopter back. Highly recommend it.

I am so glad to see someone else who loves Catalina. I think it's a great place to visit we tend to go at least once a year.

And the most famous and difficult to photograph (the angle is horrible because under her is a Art Deco ticket booth with high glass details, above a Candleier, and a low ceiling at the front) but I love her
